"The bedroom is so clean stuff is amazing breakfast good quality at the spa. It’s not clean enough. The room to change I have a lot here in the floor and the showers as well."

"The property is beautiful and located in a great area of the town of Ligure. Easy walk to town, shops, restaurants and shopping. The town is wonderful and our favorite coastal town from our 6wks of travel. Unfortunately, you cannot escape the sound of traffic at all hours of the day, especially the Vespas and motorcycles. The Staff was very nice and helpful when asked. Denise and Gabriel were genuinely excellent! They helped make our dinning experiences great each time we chose to eat at the hotel. The outdoor pool was not opened due to repairs being made for the busy summer season. The indoor pool was open and very enjoyable. Our massage experience was good not great. The tables sqeeeked and you can hear people walking by and talking. The deep body massage option needs to be improved upon. Still enjoyed it. The lower beach snack bar was opened for 2 (weekend) of the 10 days of our stay. Maintenance work was vigorously being performed throughout our stay. However, it did not take away of the beautiful gardens and meticulously cleaned walkways and outside areas. Everybody was courteous and helpful. In summation, we realize that we had visited before the busy season and they were still gearing up for it, so that did kind of take away from the ultimate experience when their up and running at full capacity. Beautiful hotel, beautiful people and beautiful experience. Also, suggest to take walk/hike to Portifino/lighthouse…better then ferry"

"Villa Gelsomino is a special, special Inn that is among the best we’ve experienced over our many years of traveling in Europe. To begin, the staff is terrific - all the staff. They are well trained, focused on customer service and appear to genuinely enjoy their work. The Inn is unique, old in age, but updated to fit the period, yet charming with all the simple touches. The rooms are large, well maintained and the bathrooms have been updated - The entry is like walking into someone’s living room, with a nice piano and amazing views of Santa Margherita Bay. The yard is large, beautiful and has ample seating to enjoy a morning or afternoon quiet time. The property is gated and security is quite good. This was a Five Star experience for us - thanks to the staff for making our 10 day stay so memorable."

"Great location between train station and downtown and ferry docks to Portofino, Fruttoso, etc. We based here to explore Cinque Terre, Portofino and Santa Margherita Hotel features an excellent gym, helpful and engaged staff, clean rooms, solid WiFi and seems dog friendly. The property is well maintained and looks much younger and hipper than the 20 years it’s been around. I’d definitely would stay at LHP again. Did not try food or drinks, but breakfast was 30 euros per person."
