Terrible experience. The apartment was in poor condition, and the entire building was filthy, with pigeon droppings and feathers everywhere — impossible to avoid, even inside the flat. The building itself was under construction, which was never disclosed beforehand. The shower was broken — every time we used it, water leaked heavily and flooded the entire bedroom. Communication with the host was awful: our messages before arrival were ignored, and once we arrived at the address, we were denied access until we paid unexpected charges. Only after payment were we redirected to a completely different location, where the host refused to assist us and was rude over the phone. Other tenants had to help us find the apartment. The provider's behavior was deceptive and unprofessional. Avoid at all costs.

We were wow’d the moment we stepped into this gorgeous, unique property. The owners, Lulu and Clive were so hospitable and you could tell the attention to detail from the unique, eclectic lobby to the courtyard with swimming pool. Out room was equally stunning. We booked the one with a jacuzzi- a small living area, separate bedroom area, and spiral staircase to a surprise cavernous room w a jacuzzi! Everything was perfect! Bathrobes, fluffy towels and luxury bath products, this hotel was better than most of the 5 star hotels we stayed at! And it’s only 10 minutes to Mdina and 15 mins to the airport. We absolutely loved it !!!

Fantastic hotel with amazing staff!

Deep blu is a gorgeous locally run boutique hotel. The staff are attentive and always sought to go the extra mile. The breakfasts were delicious and the evening menu had a good range of tasty meals. You have to remember that things run on Maltese time so if you are expecting the pool to be open first thing, chill and remember you are on holiday. You must walk down the steps and jump into the Med at the Blu grotto canal, but you have to be a proficient swimmer to do this. It is handy if you want to get into Qrendi (a fine stretch of the legs) or Zurrieq (a wee bit too far to walk, unless you are purging yourself for over indulging the night before) If you want to go further afield hop into a Bolt and away you go.
