The rooms have everything one needs, ecm en a small kitchen with stovetop fridge and microwave. A wardibe with room to hang dresses not just a short one. A desk and co fy bed. And a tv i never used. A nice size bathroom with a great shower. Paid parking inside a locked gate and only nine or 10 minutes from the old Center. Where are no good restaurants or bars around the hotel, need to drive or walk to the old city. Room was a little small, but balcony was huge and overlooking city and bay. Very good breakfast, nice garage, which need to be reserved in advance as space is limited. Secondly the towels that were given to us were stained with dried blood , not good by any standard ! "Atmospheric quirky hotel. Retains convent feel.
Nice staff; good restaurant at night.
Note it doesn’t do breakfast but good cafe nearby. No reception before noon. Good base for Bilbao - on commuter line to central station , one hour trip with regular trains ."

"Fabulous place in a lovely location. We had a brilliant stay and the hotel could not do enough to help us. They allowed us to check out a couple of hours later as we had struggled to get transport back from Bilbao, they also made us packed lunch (for a small fee) on departure even though the restaurant was closed. Couldn't recommend enough"

"Room was clean and well appointed. Staff were very helpful. We booked mainly for its location close to the ferry port. Secure parking was a must for a fully loaded car after a long stay in Spain. The food in the restaurant was basic but very good. Maria who served us was by herself, but did a great job in dealing with a busy restaurant. I would recommend this hotel for the reason we chose it."

"The hotel breakfast was really good. The staff friendly and helpful. My only issue was the distance from Bilbao centre. The taxis were very expensive between €30 and €40 but there is a convenient bus sevice which was only €2.40 one way so we took that in the day but a taxi home at night "
