Closson Casita was clean and comfortable. The home was stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect. Nestled into a quiet neighborhood just minutes by foot from shopping and galleries. We enjoyed our stay and would rent here again.
Our stay at the Closson Casita was everything we hoped for. We were very pleased with our stay and loved the little patio area outside and definitely the king size bed! Communication with the owner and property management was excellent and we were able to extend our stay on short notice, which was great! My only complaint is I wish the bedroom curtains were black out curtains, they let a lot of light in, which is slightly annoying.
The condo was much more charming than the photos led us to believe - it was a lovely surprise! Neighborhood is fantastic (walked to the farmers market, shopping, great restaurants), yard is lovely. We will definitely stay there again. Would’ve loved some pans that didn’t have non stick coating but overall a total gem.
Perfect little space in quiet neighborhood. Able to walk to many popular locations and plenty of restaurants. We found Milles on our way out of town. A must stop. This place was cleaner than my own home!
Wonderful place to stay, will be back for a longer stay soon. Great location. Best king size bed we have ever slept in. In fact we got all the information off the mattress tag and are going to try to replace our adjustable bed with the same set up. Love the washer and dryer in the unit. Don’t hesitate on this one.
This property was just right for my 2 night stay. It was centrally located , had a comfortable bad, and was very clean. Charles was very easy to communicate with. Would stay here again.
It was perfect. Spacious, yet cozy. The mattress was very comfortable. The shower/tub had great water pressure and a really good shower head. Washer and dryer were conveniently located in bathroom. Kitchen had all the needed basics. There was a great relaxing outdoor area with a fire pit. The location was absolutely wonderful. The plaza and art area were very walkable from the unit. Also, it was a quiet area (no street traffic). We would stay here again without hesitation.

Disliked: Check-in, communication
Difficult communication not friendly to visitors
They added an unapproved day to my stay and wouldn't refund even though I requested within a month of checkout. They have multiple inboxes - with a property manager and owner both responding and not collaborating with each other.
Loved this little casita. Worked very well for my husband and I and our daughter. Communication with the owners was excellent, before and during our stay. The reason for my 4-star rather than 5-star review? The floor in the kitchen was sticky (obviously had not been mopped,) the bathroom tissue and the toiletries were cheapie hotel quality, there were only three bath towels for the three of us, there were no books or magazines (not one!) on the property, the kitchen was poorly equiped (good selection of knives, pots & pans, some bakeware, but only one flimsy towel, one cracked plastic serving bowl and one additional serving bowl). The air conditioner was a portable one in the bedroom and it did not adequately cool the rest of the casita. It was also extremely loud. We have stayed in Santa Fe many times during the summer and leave the windows open and night and then shut everything up during the day to keep the house cool. This did not work in this casita. We could only open two windows and couldn't get any cross-ventilation. One large window had no covering to prevent the morning sun from coming in. We jerry-rigged a blanket to use as a curtain. The Britta filter needed replacing - we had to request a replacement. Three lightbulbs burned out - there were spare bulbs in the cupboard, but none that fit those particular fixtures. We made do. There was a Kuerig (nice) but only four pods - while I realize that is common, for the dollar amount we paid per night and the cleaning fee on top of that and then the extra amount we paid for a third person...I felt that we might have gotten a week's supply of pods, two towels per person, a proper supply of light bulbs, better quality toilet paper and toiletries, oh, and a box of facial tissue! There wasn't one at all in the casita. Only two of the cushions for outdoor seating had covers - until our third day. I guess we've just been spoiled. We've stayed at too many privately owned casitas near the plaza over the last 13 years, spent far less money, and have had been pampered. I have learned a lesson. Rent from individuals, not property managers.
Enjoyed the patio and firepit. Kitchen outfitted sufficiently. Quiet neighborhood within 15 minutes walking distance of Square. The bed is a little soft but that is personal taste.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Home away from home. Nicely furnished SantaFe style.
When we first pulled in, we were a little concerned about the neighborhood, but that proved to be just our own unfamiliarity with Santa Fe. The property was clean and cozy, and well furnished. The location is perfect, isolated enough to be away from busy traffic, and just a 10 minute walk to the Plaza. The host was communicative and responsive. We will definitely look for this property if we come to Santa Fe again.
We were able to walk to all the amenities of Santa Fe plaza, the rail yards, and Whole Foods. The farmers market on Saturdays is also walking distance! Beautiful apartment, great patio, and wonderful little fire pit made for a romantic stay.
