Very comfortable, quiet casita located within blocks of our family’s home. Easy check-in/check out and we had everything we needed. We hope to return soon!
This was a great stay! The house is cozy and located close to the capital, the railyard district, and the square. The place is well stocked with everything we could have possibly wanted. We will happily return on future visits.
Perfect spot for a stay in Santa Fe. Located within walking distance to Santa Fe Plaza, the Rail Yard, and so many great restaurants. Charles, the property manager, was a pleasure to work with. His communication was a 10/10! The home/unit was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You won't be disappointed with a stay at the Galisteo Getaway!
Lovely and tidy Casita equipped with everything you need. Within walking distance to downtown, the Railyard and other amenities. Would definitely return!
I definitely recommend this property! My partner and I stayed here for a week while I was on a work trip and we felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. There were all of the amenities we needed, it was very cute and cozy. It was small but perfect for just us two! The only problem we had was getting into the driveway, we were in our car which is low so getting in and out of the driveway was a little tricky without scraping the bottom…especially after the stormy weather but, it was possible so nothing too bad to worry about!

At last
We loved the bathroom with the deep tub and tile work. The bed was extra comfy and the coffee great. Our main problem was the check in process. We were not aware of the extra layer of the process in downloading the Guesty app. We had been traveling in the mountains, dealing with car issues and couldn’t wait to crash. For most of the day, we had been in the mountains with little cell reception. It was snowing and then hailing when we arrived. It took us at least 30 minutes in the car to sign into Guesty so we could get instructions on how to check in.
We enjoyed our brief stay at the Galisteo Getaway. The unit was as described and had some nice amenities (climate control), iron and full sized fridge. Communications with our hosts was easy. The location was central to many of our favorite food places, like Sage Bakehouse and Ohori Coffee. Thanks!
Access to unit a bit confusing (instructions stated: "key in lock box left of front door" - it was on a pole in "front" of door). Small but very clean & everything you needed. Parking left a lot to be desired... on entering driveway, gravel worn away & bottom of cars scraped on metal utility box, van parked at unit 5 prohibited unit 4 (our unit) from entering & exiting unit 4 parking, you either had to back up the entire driveway (past 4 units) to park in front of unit 4 or try to turn around in what little space was available in the gravel driveway. We were forced to back up the entire gravel driveway to unit 4 & parked in front of the unit instead of the designated unit 4 parking space at night in the dark. We have pictures on request.
We really enjoyed our stay. This was a good location, it seemed like it might be far from the main downtown area, but it was actually an easy walking distance, no problem. The area is kind of cool, with southwestern pueblo style homes. The area is also very quiet, and there is parking.
The place was very clean and well equipped with everything needed for a home away from home. It is perfect for a couple, or with 1 small kid, it is not large enough for more than 2 adults.
We would definitely stay again.
The place had everything we would need and more. The games and books were a great addition to the space. I think my favorite part was the location. It is in the heart of town and walking distance to many things.
