Authentic Santa Fe Home-Step into History & Charm
Tucked away off Garcia Street and Arroyo Tenorio in Santa Fe's sought-after historic Eastside, this beautifully preserved adobe home offers a unique and authentic New Mexico experience. Just two blocks from the renowned Canyon Road—home to some of the city's best galleries and restaurants—and five blocks from the iconic Plaza, the location strikes the perfect balance between charm and convenience. A short stroll brings you to the popular Subscriptions coffee shop, ideal for morning outings and local flavor.
Stepping through the front gate, guests are welcomed into a private courtyard lush with greenery—a peaceful retreat shaded by mature trees and enclosed by traditional coyote fencing. Thick adobe walls surround the home, preserving the quiet and maintaining the historic integrity of the neighborhood. The original floor plan remains intact, in compliance with strict preservation guidelines that help maintain the character of this treasured district.
Inside, the home has been thoughtfully updated to include modern comforts while honoring its early 20th-century roots. Subtle architectural details, such as a raised doorway into the primary bedroom, nod to the home's history. The bathrooms, though compact, reflect the practical design of the era when the home accommodated multiple families, and they add a unique touch of character to the space.
The central living area features brick flooring and rustic vigas that bring warmth and texture to the interior. The spacious combined living and dining room offers a comfortable space to gather, with an inviting fireplace for cozy evenings. The fully equipped kitchen makes home-cooked meals easy, while cable TV, internet, and a washer/dryer add to the home's modern convenience.
At the end of the day, retreat to the peaceful garden patio—an ideal spot to unwind with a glass of wine or your morning coffee. Whether you're exploring the city or enjoying a quiet night in, this remarkable casita invites you to experience the history, artistry, and comfort that make Santa Fe so beloved.

This was a lovely spot, well appointed for cooking. Conveniently located for walking to Canyon Road, downtown and Kaune's market. Comfortable bed and pleasant, shady patio for dining and reading.
We loved our stay! Super clean and cute. Beds are comfortable. The location was great. It’s about a 15 min walk to the Plaza and very close to Canyon Road. Would definitely stay here again!!
This rental was charming and within walking distance to the galleries and shops on Canyon Road and the plaza. The house was old Spanish adobe style with modern amenities. We would stay there again and highly recommend this rental.
This was a perfect place for 3-4 people. Beds were comfortable and all amenities were provided. House is well located and on quiet side of town. also suitable for walking. Would happily return.
We enjoyed being able to visit in Santa Fe with our grown daughters. The location enabled our daughters to walk to the nearby store and for all of us to enjoy the short walk to Canyon Road. Th condo is large enough to accommodate 4 adults. Hopefully we can stay there again. It had a fully equipped kitchen although we love eating out!
We had a great stay at this townhome in East Santa Fe. The place was well stocked and comfortable. It's about a 5 minute walk to Canyon Road and 15 to the Plaza, which was perfect to keep our young kids engaged over the 3 days. The only very slight challenge is the parking. There is a reserved spot in the shared driveway for this unit, but it can be difficult to get in and out. Difficult but very manageable. Would definitely stay again.
The property was well located, very clean, well equipped kitchen, great art and a true Sante Fe cottage. The parking was challenging but doable, neighbors friendly and helpful. I would not recommend for older adults, people with mobility or vision problems. Many uneven areas, both baths are step in tub- showers and the lighting in the second BR and especially the bath is very low Patio area was great
Walking distance to the plaza in a cute authentic casita. Cosy and warm in February. A few things in the casita need attention. One of the lamps in the east bedroom isn’t working. The bathroom sink in the main bath is draining slowly. The lights flicker sometimes which was hard to figure out if it was a wiring issue or too much load say when the dishwasher was running. The freezer is loud and runs constantly. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. Also appreciated that extras of condiments, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and laundry detergent. There was even a vase for the cut flowers we bought!
Cozy home in great location. Easy walking to most restaurants and galleries. Just as described. Excellent communication with property manager. Super easy check in and check out. Would definitely stay again.
Very nice location, walking distance to restaurants and galleries aroung la Plaza, quite neighborhood. The place is very well maintained with modern appliances but keeping the Santa Fe spirit and ambiance, the pictures are very accurate.
Definitely charming! Perfect for our family of three. Historic appeal with modern conveniences (except garbage disposal). Nice location within walking distance of most anything you’d want to see or do in SF. Great little patio for morning coffee or evening drinks - we enjoyed the visits of the hummingbirds feeding on the trumpet vine!
Charming casita. Well supplied with furnishings and kitchenware. However please note freezer does not work, ice cream melts. Also, please advise guests not simply to raise but to hold the door handle up while turning key to lock. Then it is easy. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
The house was really cute with comfy beds and plenty of seating. The neighborhood was great. Parking was a little bit of a hassle because the driveway is shared by multiple homes. I think the listing was misleading regarding pets. I planned to bring my dog and discovered at the last minute that pets were not allowed.
This was a quaint 2-bed, 2-bath home with a wonderful little patio for coffee in the morning. It’s 15 minutes to the plaza, so we did very little driving. Parking was tight, so you are better off with a car an not a truck. Management was great.
We had a really great time and this cozy Pueblo. The management was wonderful and house was so clean. The only reason I gave check in 4 stars instead of 5, is because it was a little hard to find. There is one driveway area for a few different houses which made it confusing at first. Overall amazing trip and stay!
