"What a lovely location although there are multiple suites and rooms, from the majority of vistas they are all nestled within the land and discrete. There were issues with the room but we were kindly offered alternatives. Breakfast was included and you couldn't eat enough. The grounds were impressively level given the graduated levels of Maderia's landscape."

Excellent Breakfast varieties, good affordable restaurant for lunch time. Great dinner buffet options. Great location and lot to explore by walking around the Hotel, if you are looking to stay away from Funchal main city centre this is the one. Hardly 10 min drive or €13 euro Bolt Taxi to the Funchal city, € 9 Bolt taxi to the airport. Lot of Madiera experience tour pick up options from the Hotel. Definitely I would recommend this for any family. Loads of Kids playing options. Who ever opts in this Hotel would not regret it. "Hotel is aging and not the best upkeep. The real issue is the staff that are rude. Whilst we were there, there was renovation and drilling in front of our door from 9:30 and they created water damage in one of the common rooms downstairs so we were unable to use it. After the first day. For this they made a gesture. However, overall experience was definitely not up to standard."
