"Good value hotel with a reliable bus service to Funchal only 5min walk away which I used on multiple occasions. It’s very good value compared to taxis. The staff were very helpful at all times of the day and the reception always had a friendly face there to help with many questions. I would stay here again."

"Great views of sea and mountains. Balcony on three sides & not close to other properties allowed one to sit in or out of the Sun and if windy to avoid that side. Clean, nice fittings & bathroom, WiFi too - ideal for a couple. Self catering was great as we could eat when it suited us and could choose what we saw looked fresh & interesting in the local markets & shops.
