Beautiful rustic venue. rooms are super clean and nice owners and staff super friendly and competent nice restaurant but just wish more seafood dishes being so near to the ocean... fresh calamari, fresh local fish, scallops etc... delicious drinks nice pool but not a good swimming beach reasonably priced checkout process needs help... way too slow

Catalina hideaway is a great get away from the busy side of Panama. - great staff - great communication - beautiful location (not necessarily physically located) All were some of our favourite parts As a young couple we would have had this on our list that would have made the trip better: - easier access to santa Catalina ( $10 USD drive per person) - adult only (we weren’t aware kids were at Catalina hideaway, though this is by no fault of the hideaway)

We love this property. I would definitely go back to this hotel. The people were wonderful. It was truly a sanctuary. The only thing that I wish was better was that our air conditioning did not work well so it was very hot at night. I still would go back! It was the best part of Panama

Catalina's Hideaway is a beautiful place only 10 minutes drive from Santa Catalina. The salt water pool is right next to the restaurant, so you can enjoy a nice cocktail or meal and jump straight back in. The food is slightly more expensive than the local restaurants but it never disappointed, it was both generous and delicious. The service was fast and the staff friendly, which can be hard to find in Panama. The room was nice and clean, we particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower and the luxurious vegetation all around. Our room had a mezzanine, which was nice but not so safe for our young children, especially as the railing was very low and the stairs dangerous. The hotel is located by the beach and you can borrow a paddleboard when the tide is high. The sea is calm and shallow so it is easy and safe. You can also go horse riding on the beach but it is pricey. I really enjoyed my morning yoga class. It was only my son and I and the teacher did a great job at getting us energized and relaxed. To make it better, the yoga deck has a great view on the sea and tropical trees. Great place overall, i highly recommend it!

I loved it here! The grounds and layout were so personalized and it felt very uniquely designed in the best way. The staff, rooms, and vibe was calming but also fun, and being right on the beach to watch sunrise was a 5 star experience. Great food and drinks and lots of options for excursions too. I will definitely be back!

Amazing place for a little escape. The bed is extremely comfortable and all you can hear is the sound of nature. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure all your need are met. The food is delicious. The only problem is that you will not want to leave. Fully recommend doing the free activities like paddle board, yoga and mud bath.

This resort was incredible! My partner and I stayed for two nights and wished we stayed longer! The rooms were amazing (we had a fully covered/closed in deck with a hammock) and a cool outdoor shower. The pool was great and the restaurant had really delicious food. Really beautiful place to stay, absolutely recommend!

This ‘hideaway’ is so magical. From being greeted with cold moist towels, to the incredible rooms backing onto the lagoon, the wildlife, birds singing, and the incredible pool and dining area, you won’t find a more peaceful and beautiful place. Highly recommend!

We were greeted with cold towels while the concierge went through everything we needed to know. The estate was spectacular and the vibe was perfectly chill. Beautiful long sandy beach filled with shells, a serene pool Surrounded by day beds, hammocks and loungers, and absolutely lovely hostesses working. Our room overlooked the “swamp” area also we spent a bit of time looking to see if we could see Alligators - no luck for us this time. The open shower was totally stunning! Mini-fridge was well stocked and French press for morning coffee!! We had to leave prior to breakfast however we weee able to purchase overnight oats to take. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant, along with some happy hour cocktails. Everything about this place is spot on.

Terrible management

Terrible service. We ask ifbwe can bring our dog and they told us yes. When we arrive they told us that it has an extra fee and that we can leave it alone in the room. They also charge us for a daycare of the dog. The installation is very nice but the management is terrible. They took a small bbq from our room without permision even though we didn't use it and agreed not to.

Unser Beach Cabin war sehr schön ausgestattet. Tolle Fliesen in Dusche und Bad. Kaffee ist inklusive. Traumhafte Gartenanlage, sehr schöner Pool. Allerdings steht in der Ausschreibung zwei Doppelbetten. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Hochbett mit sehr steiler Treppe. Es wird extrem warm und die Klimaanlage war überfordert.

Wenn man Übernachtung mit Frühstück bucht und dann nur 3 kleine Gerichte zur Auswahl hat und dazu Kaffee bezahlen musst, macht es leider das Gesamtbild kaputt. Ansonsten echt super. Ambiente toll, Küche super.
