Cozy Haven by the beach.

Wonderful Beach Condo

My wife and I found this to be a wonderful place for us to enjoy a weekend beach getaway on the coastline. The condo is clean, beautifully maintained and upgraded, cozy, and wonderfully located steps away from the beach. We had everything we wanted and look forward to our next chance to stay in this great beach condo.

Great place by the beach

My family and I loved staying here. Even my kids (who are quite opinionated) said that they would love to stay here again. The owner was very easy to connect with. The condo was SO close to the beach and to shops. The only thing we needed our car for was getting there. :) It was such a relaxing place to be.

Family time before college start

Location is in a quiet neighborhood less than 2 blocks to the beach. Note that tar is found naturally on beaches in the area. Host provided tar remover. The only item that would make unit better would be air conditioning which is uncommon in this area. We were able to be cool enough to sleep using fans and ceiling fans in the unit to circulate air.

Excellent Stay

Place worked out great for my two week stay. Only small complaint would be that there are limited windows upstairs so it gets pretty warm up there during the day. They provided an additional fan which helped but the weather was a bit warmer than usual so I guess that was to be expected. Keeping the downstairs windows and front door open really helped. Can't beat the location and its very quiet and peaceful. Property manager communication was excellent. Great water pressure in shower. Short one block walk to beach and so close to the main street for plenty of dining options. Great value for the price!

We enjoyed our stay, especially the easy access to the beach for sunset beach walks. Well appointed for 2 adults. Right back burner on stovetop did not work. We did not find an instruction sheet for the stovetop. Laundry is not in condo, but is in condo complex. Coin operated: quarters required (it would have been nice to know this in advance. Host was very accommodating when we requested two additional nights at last minute.

Fun with friends!

We stayed here as we had a bunch of friends staying at the campground. The location was perfect as it was just a relatively short walk to the campground. For the most part, we just slept at the condo and spent most of our time away from it. It worked out great for our purposes. We used two of the small beach chairs but didn’t use anything else to take to the beach. Parking was easy and the condo area was very peaceful and quiet. We used laundry once, and needed quarters and laundry detergent. Because there are only two washers/dryers if someone is using them you might need to wait a while. As others have said if it’s hot out, the upstairs can get warm. But if you use windows and fans you can cool it down pretty well. We would stay here again.

Good location

This was the perfect size for two people and was a good location to explore Santa Barbara and surrounding areas. The king bed is very comfortable and the updated kitchen has everything you need. By the front door there’s a bucket with products to clean the tar off your feet from the beach that works like magic, very nice, although we didn’t see it until the second day because it was behind a chair blocked by the curtain. You’ll love using that to clean the feet! The furniture and decor is tired leftover/hand-me-down and would change the feel if upgraded like the kitchen. The lack of AC is a challenge but manageable if you open the tiny windows in the upstairs bath and over the bed as well as the downstairs windows and set the fan at the top of the stairs blowing downstairs. This pulls in the nighttime cool outside air into the upstairs as you sleep and blows the hot air out through the downstairs windows. We don’t have AC either so we’re used to doing this. Overall we enjoyed this location as a good launch site for exploring the area.

Great Beach Stay

We had an amazing time. Have been coming to Carpinteria for many years and have stayed in a lot of places by the beach and this was great! The half bath was nice to have, comfy bed upstairs, and plenty of room for the two of us! We love everything about Carp and this really was a comfortable stay.

Excellent location a block and a half from the water with a nice boardwalk nearby. The condo itself was well appointed and conveniently had two bathrooms (one being very small, but easy access from the first floor). The kitchen was well equipped and obviously recently updated very nicely, but some essentials were missing like a usable set of tongs and measuring cups. Minor. Highly recommended!
