We need a room to stay a few hours for the midnight shuttle to the another destination. The place is badly neglected. It's a historical hotel in desperate need of renovation. The room we got was very basic, not to say obscure. We didn't have a warm water. Well located right in the city centre, but be aware of street noise.

The place is not clean, the reception seemed more like we were asking for free lodging, they never explained anything to us, we didn't have breakfast, very bad service, the bathroom is not sealed in the room, when you use it all the bad smells come out, the shower is dirty and smells very bad.

I had a very nice stay at the Hotel. The staff at the reception was very attentive and friendly. The hotel is in a great location next to the Plaza central. Expectations are important when staying at this hotel. It is a great place for El Salvador and for the price and people are extremely nice. But the rooms are simple (but clean), with basic furnishings, the bathroom is decent but showers are cold (which is very common for El Salvador) and naturally the place is a bit noisy because of it's central location. If you are looking for an affordable place right next to the greatest sights in Santa Ana this place should work great.

Great staff, great place, average bed/bath rooms

Tremendous owner, staff, service and location. Great communal areas. Bedrooms/ bathrooms are not modern and bathrooms don’t have hot water. Not a big problem because it’s super hot, but nice to have the option.

The rooms are not thoroughly clean. Found an old potato fry and spider web. The bathroom had a dirty bath mat with a stain that caused it to smell moldy. The location to the plaza and church is ideal but I would’ve stayed somewhere else and then traveled to the plaza instead. Property also charges a fee for using a card for payment and blocks payments through Expedia.
