The check in process was not that great. I do believe the girl checking us in was trying her hardest, but the level of customer service for the price paid was not there. Our room was sweltering hot, as I believe it had sat for over 24 hours unoccupied, per their covid-19 guidelines. I appreciate the extra time, but the room was hotter than outside.
The room itself was just ok, it was very clean and "renovated" at some point in the past few years, but it was not as nice as the photos convey. The bed was hard, lumpy and not very comfortable, but the pillows were excellent. The fridge/ freezer got very cold, which was great. There were towels provided, Shower gel & hand soap, hair dryer and a basic set of dishes in the kitchenette. The cleaning service did an excellent job & came daily.
The common area of the hotel, restaurant & pool area were very nice. Exceeded expectations. The area was clean, felt safe & walkable. There was a grocery store open early/ late that was very convenient. They did hold our bags for us after check out which we greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a good experience, but a little on the pricey side in my opinion.
