"Very historic and old world flavor hotel, excellent staff with kind hospitality and great food. Very close to Villa Nobel, the sea and gardens. It is not a 5 star hotel but you get more than what you pay for. Many Northern European guests but locals like to eat here."

"Very nice and perfectly located property for exploring Sanremo. Clean, spacious, and modern rooms with air conditioning. Great amenities provided in room during the stay. Rooftop lounge/bar area was lovely for a sunset beverage. Breakfast buffet had tasty and substantial offerings for a reasonable price. The valet parking is a definite plus point. We would absolutely stay at this property again!"

"The panoramic views of the hills and ocean were STUNNING! The building is a tad hidden and you must go up the elevator to reach reception, but it's well located near the historic old town to explore La Pigna which is a must-do. The room was amazing, very large like a condo, with separate huge bathroom a spacious terrace overlooking the city. Breakfast was comprehensive and very good."

"This was my second visit to the Royal Hotel which I was looking forward to! On arrival no recognition for it being my second visit- no welcome message or fruit etc in the room! Staff are great especially the pool team and the breakfast team! The room i had was the same as last time- I asked if I could have a late chexk out at 2pm and told no!! I still love the hotel but it could do better to recognise returning guests!"
