"The hotel rooms and bed are smaller compared to the IHG hotel’s Stateside. There is no microwave or iron/iron board in the rooms. The bathroom felt very tight. There were no face towels. I recommend bringing your own. The breakfast was fresh and great. There are no water fountains in the lobby area. I guess it was good for the European standard. "

"The Breakfasf was pretty good, however the room A/C did not work, so I asked staff to come check, 2 hours went by and the housekeeper came to clean my room so i asked her about the A/C, she called the front desk, they came, turned a few buttons with a attitude like I was bothering him, and turned around and left the room with even checking to see if it was working or not. The A/C didnt have not 1 drop of air come out. I stayed for 6 nights and every night i had to open the window and door for cool air. 2nd night there my neighbor was on the balcony at 2am smoking and on the phone talking to anyone who would pick up the phone, speaking very loud until about 4 am. The hotel is not walkable distance to anything such as resturants or cafes."

"Large clean room, comfortable bed and bedding. Can open windows (some street noise). Public car park 300m, secure, 16 euros for 24 hrs. Had to ask for key card to be revalidated once, desk staff a bit disorganised but friendly. Excellent location close to main street."

"Hotel is good for stays in the region. Good parking, view and common areas. Rooms a bit outdated and bathroom had a certain smell. Staff very friendly but not particulary service oriented. Overall ok. "

"Das Achat-Hotel liegt zentral am Bahnhof, ist aber trotzdem recht ruhig. Die Zimmer sind gross, sauber, aber in die Jahre gekommen, die Tiefgarage ist zu eng für grosse Fahrzeuge, aber es gibt hinter dem Hotel einen günstigen Parkplatz. Angenehm fanden wir die Möglichkeit, Wasser in Glasflaschen abzufüllen und aufs Zimmer zu nehmen. Der Wochenendpreis war sehr günstig."
