  • Sanibel Siesta on the Beach, Unit 101. This unit was completely rebuilt and re-furnished from the ground up, completed in April 2024. If you've stayed here before, you'll appreciate the redesigned, larger kitchen with much more storage and counter space, a pantry with pull outs, gleaming stainless appliances and the new open-plan layout. If you're new to this unit, you should be pleasantly surprised by the modern and comfortable furnishings, the well-stocked kitchen including toaster oven, dual function coffee maker (coffee pot and single K cups), the kitchen tools and gadgets you'd have at home including a slow cooker. Lounge or dine al fresco on the 24 ft. long screened veranda with table, chairs and two chaise loungers, or linger in the expanded and very private primary bedroom suite with walk-in closet, sitting area and desk. The primary bath now features a walk-in shower as well as more counter and drawer space for your convenience. No Pets

    In the living room TV cabinet, you'll find games, books and cosy throws for your enjoyment. With ceiling fans in every room and two fans on the screened veranda, there is good lighting throughout the unit and there's always a breeze if you want it. Unit 101 features new oversized flat screen Smart TVs: 65" (LR) and two 55" (BR) with Direct TV and there is included Wi-Fi from an all-new high speed fibre internet network.

    Comfort and amenities like you're at home, light and bright like you'd expect on a beach holiday, this apartment is conveniently positioned on the ground floor. You're just steps from the pool, parking and the beach. Enjoy the serene view of the banana trees and exotic plant garden with the pool and gulf beyond, through the two new, 108" sliders.

    We're located in a beautiful area that's ideal for strolling and bicycling. Bicycles are available for rent on-site. Golf, tennis and pickleball are available nearby and our on-site office staff is here to assist with local resources. Gas grills and laundry facilities are available on-site.

    All of these features make this the perfect "home away from home" for creating your Sanibel Island holiday memories!

Great beach Condo

Loved the property, very spacious and clean. Had a fully stocked kitchen, master bedroom was much bigger than in the picture. Had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

Great condo!

Stayed here in March for a girls trip! Condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was not far at all. My only complaint is that one of my friends twin bed kept falling apart. There weren’t. Slats under the mattress and one of them kept falling.

Great Vacation Spot!

We so enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was exactly as described on the listing and the customer service was top notch...from the wonderful women who work in the office to the very helpful property manager to having bikes and beach towels and beach chairs available to the inclusion of key basics like toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, etc. We would 100% stay here again!

Great place to stay!

We had a lovely time in Sanibel! The apartment/ condo was perfect for our family of 5. This unit is one of the furthest from the beach, but it is exactly a 5 minute walk from the door to the water! SO close.

We loved this property. Had everything we needed for the beach, chairs, etc! The heated pool felt great! The condo had plenty of space, the master bedroom and closet are huge!! We will definitely stay again

Negative: Pictures of listing site are a little mis-leading, as I thought we'd have one of the rooms in the three bldgs shown, with at least some view. Doesn't show the fourth bldg, an additional 50 yrds away, with no views (which just so happens to be the one we were in).No actual check-in communication from VRBO or Sanibel Siesta, thank heavens a "security guard" (who was locking gates) just so happened to stop by to help us get the info we needed.Plus: Unit we rented was very clean and spacious.

Beautiful Condo!

Everything was wonderful at this condominium! We loved the kitchen and all the amenities it has, new appliances, etc. We cooked a lot there and it was very accommodating! We loved the porch to put our towels and rest on the chairs and not have to worry about the bugs coming in! Everything was easy to get to, the pool is accessible and well-kept, and the location being on the first floor was convenient bringing in/out luggage through the back door. We will try and reserve this condo again when we come back to Sanibel! Thankyou!

Nice condo with nice amenities

We used VRBO to rent this property. The process was very smooth. We had a ground level unit which was great for my mom, but there was also an elevator for the upper floors. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were some extra amenities with the condo that were appreciated such as beach umbrellas and chairs. The property sits right on the beach, so it was just a short walk to the beach from our unit. We would stay here again.

Couldn't ask for more!

I'd love to keep this unit a secret but I owe it to other vacationers to review it. Our family LOVED this unit! It felt so comfortable and homey. It was obviously put together with care and love by the owner. Decorated just right, it was on the ground floor for easy access to beach and pool, quiet, roomy, and so very very clean (one of my biggest criteria). The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. We made one big trip to the grocery and never left the island again. Beyond the unit itself, the staff at Sanibel Siesta was wonderfully helpful and nice. Pool was large and clean, and the shelling at the beach was beyond amazing.

Sanibel Stay

The proximity to the beach was the absolute best part of the stay. We went to the beach every single day. The amenities were great with a pool, laundry, and full kitchen. The beach chairs were also very nice to have as well. There were two things I would recommend for the unit. One is that when we arrived, it was pretty musty, and this aggravated both myself and my partners allergies. I would recommend regular cleaning of the air filters in the AC unit. Secondly, on the sliding glass doors, the stickers are helpful, however it is still very hard to tell if the door is open or not. My partner has diminished eye sight in his left eye and walked right into the glass with his martini. I would recommend a colorful sticker for the sliding glass doors as this would be helpful for those with poor eyesight. Otherwise, the unit was great and we had a wonderful time and would stay at in your unit again in the future. Thank you, Colton

Nice place

The condo was spacious and had all the amenities. They do need more chairs by the pool area. The only other thing that needs to be addressed is the AC unit couldn't be set below 74 and on the hotter days it was too warm for sleeping. I'm just glad we weren't renting in the hot months. It would have been unbearable. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.
