Beautiful property but noise from upstairs

What a gorgeous home! Very comfortable furniture and wonderful kitchen/dining area in which to enjoy meals. We have always loved Sanibel and this was our first time in this condo. My only complaint is that the upstairs condo has little noise protection in the floor (ceiling of our condo). We could hear every step (must be a tiled, uncarpeted floor) and the creak of floorboards, especially at bedtime. I go to bed early (9:30) and the upstairs occupants were late-to-bed folks. I could not fall asleep until their movements upstairs stopped -- and they were not loud in any other way. The condos here should have required carpeting and sound-deadening for second floor condos.
