"We had a short 2 day stay in Sanibel, and Tarpon Tale was the perfect spot for our family of 4. Easily walkable to some dining, shopping, and nice beaches, and the complimentary bikes give you the ability to explore the whole island while leaving the car parked. The extra details of this small independent hotel (bikes, shell-washing stations, fire pit area) are a great match for the small town, friendly feel of the island. Highly recommend"

"The host was very welcoming, texting pertinent info before and during our stay, even letting us know of a wreck on the causeway that might have caused us hours of consternation if we had been caught in it. The extras cabinet saved us a couple of times. "

We were within walking distance to the beach and a convenience shop. Traffic is not busy at this stay. It feels very private as it is a cottage with outside sitting and gathering. Washer and dryer is available and accessible. We loved our stay. "
