Find a Great Motel Sanford

"The only thing that prevents me from giving a 5 star rating were the strong bad odor coming from the hallway carpets and the condition of the lobby furniture that have seen better days and is ready for a change. Besides that, everything was acceptable, clean and we had a decent stay. "

"The rooms smelled terrible and the beds were awful. That was, however, not the worst part. We booked (and paid) through hotels.com and then were charged for our rooms again by this establishment! We have spent hours on the phone trying to resolve this and get our nearly $300 back that this location has stolen from us. Our bank confirmed that they (Best Western Plus Sanford Airport/Lake Mary) withdrew these payments from our account and they (the general manager) are still denying it. He has been the most rude, clueless and unprofessional person I have ever encountered in the hospitality industry. They are either the most incompetent establishment on the face of the earth (he said they have no way of seeing what charges were made at their hotel that day?) or they are knowingly stealing from their customers and hoping it gets overlooked. This experience will lead us to never stay at another Best Western again. If you want to save yourself time and money I'd find somewhere else to stay!"

"Best hotel I've stayed at in a long time. Clean, attractive, great staff and amenities. Walking distance to a few restaurants. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Orlando. "

"First we got put into wrong room. But it was corrected with two days. The room we do stay for most of the stay can use some tlc. Bathroom ceiling over shower cracked and little mold. Rust build up near drain in shower. Breakfast was good and service personnel was great. "

"Great location, concert venue and restaurants close by. The room was clean and fresh. Bed and pillows very comfy. Check in staff was pleasant and friendly. The valets were helpful on getting around."

"Do not stay here. 3 different families were upset bc they offer a shuttle and close it early. We booked queen beds and they were very small not queens. Staff was rude and horrible. Do not recommend. "
