"Mango Bay has the most beautiful beach on the west coast. There’s nice snorkeling in the area such that many catamaran tours stop off the coast there. The service by the staff is amazing as they will get to know you personally and remember your preferences. The rooms are a large size for two people (we were three and still comfortable). The hotel is in Holetown and just outside the gate are the local restaurants and bars which are lively on weekends. The food is very good. Only area of improvement I can think of is that the bathrooms could be renovated to be more modern. "

"We were delighted with the property. It was so spacious and tastefully decorated. The amenities were in abundance. The cleanliness was excellent. Loved that we had the outdoor space to enjoy too. My two teenage sons thought it was fantastic and enjoyed the space it afforded them. Our only (slight ) negative was that the menu at the Sugar Cafe was misleading. It was very expensive for what we were given. By the time we had our sitting they had run out of a lot of the ingredients; they were brilliant in that they still made us meals out of what they had, however there was no adjusting the bill and it was very expensive. Added to the fact they charged in USD which was misleading. If we are lucky enough to return to Barbados we would definitely be returning to Beach View ! Thank you ! "

The House by Elegant Hotels - All-Inclusive - Adult Only

"My husband and I chose this adults only hotel/resort because we were celebrating our one year wedding anniversary along with his birthday. After our experience, I wish we had chosen somewhere else for the money we spent on this 10 day trip. Pros: - the weather is beautiful - the waiting staff/ambassadors are great and always ready to help - the view is gorgeous and the water is crystal clear Cons: - the beach is filled with rocks and the only area with soft sand is where the watersport area docks and we had to keep moving - be ready to be judged by two male bartenders. my husband and i skipped breakfast every morning so we usually came down around 1PM to start our day by having lunch and then going to the beach. one day, around 4PM the bartender told my husband he was cut off (because he thought we were drinking all morning) and had the audacity to call my husband drunk. another day, i ordered a drink and the bartender told me i'm an alcoholic. i have been on a lot of all inclusive vacations and i have never been treated this way. the audacity of these two guys to not care about our feelings or to ruin our vacation and say these things in front of other guests. i was left absolutely disgusted. I would not recommend this hotel/resort."
