The villa was clean and well appointed. There was comfortable space for four adults though the lounge became somewhat cramped when the fifth adult arrived. There was a sense of safety and security at all times, which was welcome. Everything worked! Though rather removed from the beach there was easy access nonetheless. Other amenities were a short drive away. The corner deli, Scotchies for jerk delights and the petrol station. The highway and Ocho Rios proper were also easily accessible.

We loved everything about Sunset at the Palms! It was so beautiful... such a vibe! Stone, dark carved wood, art and gorgeous plants EVERYWHERE. We immediately felt calm and relaxed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food and drinks were great. The beach was stunning, and it was so fun hanging at the pool bar. The spa was wonderful as well... great couples massage! I can not say enough about the staff! Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE was so nice, extremely competent and super helpful. Shout out to Piano Paul, who made each night so fun and memorable!

We recently returned from our first trip to Jamaica. Ocean Eden is a beautiful resort and the staff was pleasant upon our arrival. Our room key was a bracelet with a little fob that we wore for the entire stay - great for someone like me who constantly loses the key card at hotels. The bracelet also served as the way to lock/unlock the safe in the room. The room itself was very clean and spacious; I loved the fact that it faced the entire property: the ocean to the left, the pool in the middle, and the hills to the right. the housekeeping team did an excellent job with daily service. The room was always clean and the bed made up perfectly. The team restocking the minibar daily was also great (the plantation chips are so good) and made sure that we had enough bottled water to drink each day. The Marlin was our most frequented restaurant (I was in love with the octopus cocktail) and we went to the Captain’s Market for the buffet often (so many options!) I liked the fact that we could walk over next door to kid-friendly Ocean Coral (but Coral could not visit us in Ocean Eden) and experience the food options on that side. Route 66 had great milkshakes while my partner had amazing oxtail and Jamaican jerk at Sugar Cane. There were also snack bars near the beach and the pool. Both the beach and pool were relaxing but we noticed that the beach chairs filled up quickly in the morning while there was more availability at the pool. I also liked the vibe at the pool with the music.

my family and I had a wonderful week here! We loved the food, the pool activities, how passionate the staff were and of course the lovely scenery & weather of jamaica!
