About this space
This home is great for 1-2 families or group. Sandusky rustic home has been turned into a fantastic vacation retreat. There are 2 kitchens, plenty of beds w/ multiple spaces to relax. The whole group will be comfort in this spacious and unique space.
Approx. 5 miles to Cedar Point, minutes to Island Ferries & downtown, 20 mins to Vermillion, Huron, Marblehead/Port Clinton.
This home is cat-free due to allergies but dog(s) allowed w/prior approval. Kids welcome, not toddler proofed. $50/dog fee
The space
There is plenty of space for large groups. 4 Queen size beds plus a pull out couch.
Other things to note
This home accepts dog(a) with prior approval. Unfortunately, this home do a not allow any of domestic, farm or wild animals and especially cats due to extreme allergies of family and future guests.
This home does allow children, but all children and dogs must be monitored to protect our lake home.
This home is not toddler proofed.

Clean and convenient

This older home is roomy and clean. Conveniently located for those who want to visit Cedar Point or other locations in the Sandusky area. We also took a trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland which was just a bit over an hour away.

Nice house, great location

We were in town for a volleyball tournament, and renting a house was the most cost-effective option for three families (which consisted of nine people). The price for this rental was more than fair. When we arrived, the house had just been cleaned and was ready right at 4 p.m It was clean, tidy, and quaint. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out and have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, and the extra fridge in the dining room was helpful to get several cases of water cold for our girls' tournament. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were nicely decorated. The only thing we were disappointed about was that the listing indicated there was a fire pit and grill for our use. While there was a grill, it was old, rusted out, and we couldn't get the propane to turn on because it was rusted shut. We were planning on grilling burgers and hot dogs, but couldn't and had to cook them in the house. There was also no fire pit as indicated in the listing, which was disappointing because I specifically asked if we could bring wood and use it and was told we could. Since we couldn't grill out, we tried to sit out back, but there were so many bugs, the screened-in porch was a welcome hang out place. Overall, we were pleased with our choice of this rental and would rent it again if we had another tournament in the area. My only suggestion is to update the grill and get a fire pit or not list them as an amenity. Thank you for your hospitality!
