We arrived believing there was a restaurant and bar as listed on the website. We waited to eat so we could relax at our hotel after a long ride . We were informed the restaurant & bar had been closed for a year . Disappointed & hungry

We were disappointed that our AC didn’t work properly ( we figured it out). We were also disappointed with the breakfast. Very limited due to being so busy the day before for Mother’s Day as we were told. We were given yogurt only when we asked if they had some.

Very convenient location to town, marina and park. The hot tub and pool temps are perfect. Mattress very comfortable. A bit outdated but very clean.

The lady running the breakfast area definitely could use some help or re training. She was very kind so im not trying to dog on her but she carried several handfuls worth of fruits from stomach up. Balanceing all of it with her chin. The breakfast options are already basically nothing . The fruit would have been nice but no way after seeing that .

I loved the property. It was a bit aged and antique-ie as far as decorated. It was right on the water and my view from the balcony was so beautiful, especially during sunrise. It was very clean and safe. Staff was great. Everything within walking distance. My only complaint is the PAPER THIN walls. You can hear EVERYTHING. I felt like someone was going to the bathroom beside me with the door open. Showers from other rooms were also crazy loud. I had to work early and felt so guilty for showering at 530 am. I can’t imagine what it would be like with loud children or crying babies.

Location was perfect! Great lakeviews and easy walk to downtown shopping. Staff super friendly. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Trinity restaurant not open but breakfast is available 6am to 9am. We didn't partake so no idea how it is. Showerhead could use some CLR. Overall, very pleased with our stay.

It is a beautiful spot! The place has reached it's qualiy of life span and needs to be updated! The view is wonderful and easy access, needs a good restaurant that is open. The staff were super, we are older and dealing with stairs with luggage is difficult and although we got it up the stairs a staff member came and offered to help and that was very nice.

It's a gorgeous location and not a bad view in the whole place. Easy walking distance to all of the nifty little shops and restaurants that make Sandpoint such a tourist destination.

Property is very old and room smelled like cat urine. Bathroom very small and very old, not updated. One staff member was helpful, others simply cold and didn't care. Breakfast was worthless. No dining at property otherwise, which is not noted on website. Rumors around town that property is being developed, which may explain the current condition of the property.

Room was not very clean. A teeth floss cleaner, and a piece of trash were on the carpet near the A/C unit. Otherwise room was clean. Upstairs people were very loud. Lots of stomping and running heard. Staff very friendly and nice. Made reservations for a future visit. Very disappointed the restaurant was closed. Hot tub and pool very nice.

We enjoyed our stay overall and the lakeview is lovely even in the off season with the snowy mountains. Unfortunately one of the 2 queen beds was quite broken down in rm 218. We enjoyed the pool, but it needs an update along with the hot tub. There were clumps of long hair floating in the pool so I don't know if that was from the day or two before, but it was gross. The sauna was out of service as well. Love the location and that its dog friendly. I'd say we will be back, but I hope the pool has been cleaned.

The location was ok, no real advantage in the winter. When I made the reservation I asked about the hot tub and was told it was in service year round. When we checked in on 1/28 we were early. There was a problem with hot water for some of the rooms and they relocated us. I asked at that time (2pm?) about the hot tub. I was told it was refilling. We went into town to watch our Lions play the 49ers. We returned around 7, the hot tub was filled but tepid, cool.. I inquired again and was told it takes a long time to heat. NOT 5 hours! I checked it the next morning, still cool. Told the front desk. Same answer. Came back that evening after skiing and went to the hot tub,STILL COOL (same temp as the pool). I reported to the desk again, and again told the SAME THING??? Next morning at check out I went down to see if it had changed and ran into one of the maintenance guys by the pool/hot tub pump and heater room. He said they had fixed the issue with the boiler for the rooms in the one wing. I told him about the hot tub, he was not aware there was even an issue. We were very dissapointed. I get that your place is primarily a summer spot, but if you are selling rooms to skiers and they want a hot tub . . . ??? A secondary issue was the strong musty smell on the 2nd floor in the hall and rooms. I stay at Best Westerns, and related, regularly. This was sub par for my experiences. Stuff breaks, but to tell me it is ok and not even call Ron or Bill for repair???

We do apologize that your stay was not up to expectations. Since we had a busy weekend where lots of kids were involved we informed everyone that Monday would be a Maintenance day for the hot tub and it would take almost a full day to warm up due to its size and age. We have nobody working for us under those names and the Maint. team was contacted about the hot water issue that same night and we had to call in the Hvac guys the next morning to look at the issue. After Monday everything was up and running as it should be. We apologize and will take all of this into consideration, we thank you for your feedback.
