"Wir sind drei Läufer suchten für eine einwöchige Laufreise über alle ostfriesischen Inseln ("Nordseelauf 2026") ein Ferienhaus mit drei Schlafzimmern als "Basislager". Tatsächlich haben wir mit diesem Haus ein ideales Domizil gefunden. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, äußerst sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Inenn wie außen wirkt alles sehr gut gepflegt und neuwertig. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und der Badesee zum Abkühlen - wir waren in der Hitzewelle dort - befindet sich fußläufig nur wenige Meter (ca. 100 Meter) entfernt. Die Strandbar am Badesee ist ebenfalls fußläufig zu erreichen und war für uns abends ein willkommenes Ziel nach einem langen Insel- und Lauftag.Die Zimmer bieten viel Platz, die Küche wiederum beinhaltet so ziemlich alle Gegenstände, die man benötigt, um sich selbst versorgen zu können. Sogar eine Nespresso-Maschine ist vorhanden - das wichtigste Utensil am Morgen ;)! Und die Waschmaschine war wiederum sehr hilfreich, um allabendlich unsere Laufkleidung wieder in Form zu bringen. ;)Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war überaus nett, freundlich und jederzeit möglich. Vielen Dank, liebe Familie Schalk, wir schauen gerne beim nächsten Nordseelauf wieder vorbei! :)"
