Lovely spring visit
The location of the house is secluded and surrounded by meadows and high hills. The wrap around porch was perfect for the rainy days and the layout of the house suited having an older child and two toddlers. We had a great time!

If you're looking for peace, this is your spot!
This was our first time to stay at this property and in this area and we absolutely loved it. The house was beautiful and the location was serene. The host was attentive and made sure we were comfortable. We were looking for a getaway that would afford us peace and tranquility from our daily lives and we were not disappointed! I could not recommend this place more! We hope to revisit in the future. Our furbaby had a ball too! Thank you, Kayla for a wonderful stay!

We felt at home on our vacation!
We really loved staying in this nice, big, yet cozy and secluded cabin. We felt right at home here. The cabin was exceptionally clean, and the location was just what we were looking for as we spent an outdoorsy weekend hiking, cooling off in the water and exploring the area. The friendly and helpful hostess, Kayla, was excellent; she was so kind to provide us with info about the surrounding area. We loved our hike up to Sam's Throne! We would definitely stay here again in this wonderful "home- away- from- home" vrbo rental. Sincerely, Andrea & Randy

Great Place to Get Away Together!
This was a perfect place for 3 generations of our family! There was plenty of room for everyone. The house was clean and had everything we needed! The table for 8 was just right for meals and games and there was plenty of room to cook together. We loved the Blackstone outside! Watching the cows (and donkey!) was a great pastime as was just sitting on the porch! We hiked Sam's Throne and spent time at the river a couple of days cooling off in the water. On our last morning, we had a special treat of watching 3 young deer play in the pasture for about 10 minutes! All 8 of us stood at the kitchen and dining area windows watching the show! Kayla was a great host providing all of the information we needed and wonderful directions!! We would definitely recommend this property!!

New Year's friends gathering.
We have a group of 8 friends that get together during the New Year for the past few years. We loved the seclusion of this cabin! We had plenty of room for 4 couples and everything was so clean and nice. We had perfect weather and hiked and enjoyed the porch and fire pit. It was so peaceful and quiet. Kayla was GREAT to work with and we had the best time!

Secluded Spacious Well Appointed Cabin with Amazing Views
We thoroughly enjoyed our family getaway to the Ozark–St. Francis National Forest, this cabin was perfect for our group, which included two families. The cabin was well appointed with a fantastic wrap-around porch with an outdoor grill and unbelievable views. This property is close to hiking trails and is perfect for anyone looking to get away and enjoy the outdoors. You have no neighbors in sight with the surrounding trees and mountains around this property.

More than Expected
This was a last minute trip so not much research was done before booking this place. To be honest, the photos made this place look "ok" but we went ahead and booked it. We just wanted to get out of Tulsa and take the kids hiking and fishing. For a one-day getaway, 4 hours was pretty far for my parents and by the time we got near, they were already exhausted and complaining a lot, especially when we turned into the dirt road heading to cabin. The scenery was beautiful. But when we stepped inside the cabin, we were not expecting it to be so nice and clean. The photos do not do it justice. My parents loved it so much, they want to go back with their friends and spend some quiet days there. There isn't any lakes or rivers nearby so we didn't get to do much of that. Again, it was a last minute thing so we didn't do much research. There are cows and donkeys nearby and the kids had a blast just trying to look and pet them. In the morning, the fog was so thick, it just made it much more homier. For me, I loved that it had a gas stove since I don't like cooking on electric stove. The only negative thing I have to say is that the microwave didn't work but luckily, we didn't need it. I would like to suggest to the owner that they add a blender. But this place was AMAZING. If I had any questions, Kayla was so quick to respond and so super nice. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin. We plan to go back in the winter.

Buffalo River Trip for 3 Families
This house was ideal for 3 families with small children. With the 3 levels everyone had their own space and were not on top of each other. The pictures really do not do this place justice. It has so much to offer and was bigger than we expected!! The house is situated in the middle of a beautiful pasture and we got to enjoy the watching the cows and donkeys (our kids loved this)! The property is located approximately 25 mins from the launch site we used on the Buffalo River, so be prepared for a little drive getting there. We would definitely stay in this house again if we are ever headed back to the area. Kayla was great to communicate with and we really appreciate their hospitality!
