Stairs are steep, but make for good exercise to get up into a magical treehouse-like place. Utterly safe. A gift to the guests lucky enough to stay at this exceptional property."

"Our stay at Live Oak Cottage was wonderful. The cottage had a delightful decor that was filled with comfort. We felt like it was our home. Barbara and Steve were also delightful, very communicative and available. They left no detail out from the very well stocked kitchen with every piece of equipment you would need as well as many spices. Beaufort and the surrounding area provides many beautiful parks and nature trails along with an adorable city offering an array of great restaurants and shopping, all very near by. We loved this cottage and the area. We plan to be back soon! "

"Communication was prompt. Amenities need improvement. Pullout sofa needs to be replaced. Refrigerator was noisy. Outdoor balcony did not reflect what was posted in pictures. The outside could use sprucing up. Location was excellent. "

"The room smelled like mildew. The toilet didn’t work. The person at the front desk was smoking like a chimney whenever I went in there. The surrounding neighborhood was pretty sketchy; a person was smoking weed just outside my room. After all this I did appreciate the 55” TV."
