Brilliant Beachfront Apartment with Super Sunset views in Xlendi Bay, Gozo Malta

"I don’t want to dwell on the epic view from the balcony or the cute village. I would like to nominate Frank for best VRBO host in the world. First, he gave us a cold beer, ran us through the property details and gave us the “frank’s map of local treasures” talk. The place was not only spotless, it was fully stocked with detergents, toiletries, spices, kitchen ware, and even a bottle of rose. The towels were soft, there were extra hand towels, everything worked, and had everything you need for the beach. Frank’s attention to detail made us feel welcome and over-the-moon happy with our choice of accommodation."

"Terrific location - perfect for sunsets if you have a seaview room. We had a no view room and upgraded on arrival. Upgrade price was high for the standard of the room, which id rate at 3 stars. The rooms are dated - 1980's style. Staff were wonderful and food at the cafe is excellent. The whole place is in need of an interior upgrade especially as newly built hotels are now either side. Xlendi is chilled, bolt taxis often refuse pickup if not there already. Good Bus service into Victoria."

"5-Star Review Absolutely fantastic stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The location was amazing and the apartment was top class. It looked practically brand new and was absolutely gleaming throughout. "This is a beautiful property! Lots of space, well furnished, and everything was easy. We would have liked to know in advance exactly where it was, because we felt a little lost without that as we approached Kercem, but with Maria's directions we got there no problem in the end. If you dislike heat an plan to go in the middle of summer, read on: The AC was only in the main bedroom and on a coin meter (we didn't try it because there was a great fan). However, do know that old farmhouses aren't built to stay entirely cool in 100 F degree weather. It reached 109 (43ish) when we were there. Without AC throughout the house, it was hot! But that was unseasonable weather. The fans did some good work, but it was still hot. When you choose this age of house, this is what you get :-) Also, if you go in July, be prepared for fireworks **night and day** as the island's villages celebrate their festivals. Not the time to visit if you can't tolerate lots of booms and shaking morning and night (a lot at night, and from 8am onwards). Again, not a problem with the property--the house was great! But important to know nonetheless."
