Big house with garden among hills of vineyards 5 min. from the sea
The Wi Fi is Eolo and it is located inside the house. The house is in Sant'Apollinare, a sunny village between clear hills of olive groves, vineyards and romantic groves not far from the sea: its aroma reaches it, but purified of the dense humidity of the coasts. You will be in the countryside, alone, but not isolated and at a few kilometers from the beaches. The Maiella Mountain, with its wonderful national park, is 40 kilometers away. The house with its one meter thick walls retains a natural freshness in its vast interiors, a few degrees lower outside in the summer. There is a private internal garden that with its roof which allows you to linger and have meals outdoors even in case of rain, equipped with a comfortable sink with hot and cold water and a barbecue. The house is located next to the historic church of San Rocco, not used for worship, and is in a panoramic place, close to the wonderful Valle del Moro. There are no bars or other places in its vicinity that could be a source of disturbance. The atmosphere is quiet and restful. In the village there are discreet, respectful and friendly people and there are traditional restaurants that cook dishes such as "pizze e fuoje, pallotte cacie and ove, maccherune alla guitarre" with a tasty ragù, grilled lamb: you will feel the ancient flavors of Abruzzo cuisine. Close to the beaches of San Vito, just 5 minutes from the house, you will also find cheap restaurants serving good meals (5 euros), allowing you to return immediately to enjoy the sun. The area is rich in historical monuments - Castles, monasteries -, it is 15 minutes from the historic center of Lanciano, the city of the Eucharistic Miracle, which has the best preserved old medieval and Renaissance quarters in all of Abruzzo. In the house the appliances are new. The costs of electricity, gas and water are included in the price. We provide sheets, blankets and towels. Upon your arrival you will find everything perfectly in order and ready to welcome you. The house is equipped with everything including detergents for the washing machine and household needs, the cabinet for medications, the vacuum cleaner etc. There is a television with digital channels and equipped with a satellite with foreign channels in English, German, French, Russian, Spanish etc. We accept pets, although please let us know when you contact us. From the moment of your arrival you can consider us at your disposal for your every need.

Very clean and well organized big house, with a very new appliances in the kitchen, ready fresh
Very clean and well organized big house, with a very new appliances in the kitchen, ready fresh beds, a splendid silent garden with a roof and running hot water for the open meals. The air of the village is very fine It smells of the nature and of the sea. The owner, Gabriele, is a perfect gentleman. We could not desire better for our vacation.

The wifi did not work. The washer did not work. The place was not very clean.
There was clutter everywhere. The heater was not adequate
The owner is very friendly, the house is older, the furnishings match its age but are functional. The water pressure in the shower is low, but if you’re not in a hurry, it’s manageable for a limited time. The overall impression is like being on vacation at grandma’s 40 years ago.If you are traveling with a dog, a big benefit of this house is the small garden, which could use a bit of improvement. We stayed here for 9 nights, there were five of us and a big dog, and we really enjoyed our holiday. The house is in a great location, and if a complete renovation were done, it could be a luxury accommodation. There is a local bar/café just a short walk from the house, where you can enjoy coffee and various treats. The café staff is friendly and very attentive. The beach at San Vito Chietino is 5km away, but there are nice beaches also near the town of Fossacesia, and the Conad shopping center is near Ortona.Overall, I would conclude that this accommodation is suitable for guests who do not have high demands.
In casa c'è tutto, biancheria, pentole, asciugamani, strofinacci, lavatrice, stendino...

In fondo in Abruzzo trovi sempre gentilezza e cortesia.

Very good memories
We were a bit worried when we read the previous review on this site (about 2 days before departure). Fortunately, we had a great stay in Abruzzo – very good memories. I can understand the previous comments, but think this house deserves more than a 2 star rating. Our experience:
The owner was very nice and extremely helpful (he even lent us his snow chains without hesitation + we forgot earrings at the house and he was so nice to send them to us by mail and even included a compact disc with Italian music). He lives in a town nearby and was always available in case there would have been troubles (we didn’t need to contact him). He had prepared the beds and told us we could change the house at will to make ourselves feel at home. There was indeed stuff everywhere, but we put it away in the drawers– after that the house looked very cosy.
It is located at a perfect spot, very peaceful village with warm people – nice to experience authentic Italy.
For those coming with kids: everything is located on the ground floor; there is a very big living room where there are some beds (and sleeping couches) installed (approx. 6 people can sleep there so it is suitable for groups as well), but the kids wanted to sleep in our bedroom since there was only one real bedroom (one 2pers bed and one 1pers bed in this bedroom). So we moved one of the beds from the living room to the bedroom (since it was not very heavy).
The living room has a big fire place and there is plenty of wood provided, we used it once on a rainy evening. The pictures on the site are correct and not misleading, which is a plus.
The heating worked well (but we removed the air to increase efficiency + increased the water temperature a bit), the washing machine (=washer) worked well (but was a bit complicated to get started – a small manual would be nice).
The absolute plus is the sunny and sheltered garden: breakfast in the sun every morning (in April), even on colder days. Shower and bath worked very well. We would recommend this house to a friend. A four star rating + one extra star for the exceptional friendliness of the owner.

Pasqua e Pasquetta perfetta

Mille Grazie e Tanti Saluti

Leuk, ruim huis

Torneremo!

"L''alloggio è situato in...
