  • -A charming, traditional Cantabrian house. -Ocean view from the balcony. -Surrounded by nature: meadows, cows, and fruit trees. -Layout of the house: It has a small living-dining room and 1 bathroom. The kitchen retains its original hearth. 5 bedrooms: 2 with doors, 2 with curtains for privacy, and 1 that opens into another room. -It features a built-in barbecue and a picnic table.
    -Parking area. -A 5-minute drive from San Vicente de la Barquera and Comillas, and 2 minutes from the most beautiful beaches in Cantabria, Oyambre and Gerra.

The house is situated in a quiet village within walking distance to the beach, which we appreciated greatly. As present in the description, 2 bedrooms did not have doors, which was not an issue. Everything was clean on the surface but the walls were damp and the house smelled of wet basement and the beds and couch felt damp when the windows were closed even for a short period. The kitchen was well equipped with plates, cutlery and cups but there were only 2 stoves and small cooking pots, hardly enough to cook for the number of people that can stay in the house (10 beds). The kitchen also had a weird damp smell. All in all, the house looked like the pictures but didn't feel like it.
