"My Place is a brand new smallish hotel in Mesa/Phoenix. As a result it was spotless, fresh, clean and excellent for the kind of hotel it is. It is the very definition of functional. There are basically no amenities, which is what I was expecting. There is a guest laundry. The room was very plain, which made no difference to me. It has a basic small kitchenette with an in counter cook too and a full-size refrigerator. It’s really designed as a somewhat extended near-residence kind of lodging. The bed was clean, fresh and comfortable. The bonus to My Place is the convenient location. Easy to get to just of Highway 60 at Signal Butte. There are many surrounding businesses: restaurants, car wash, fitness gym, large and small box retail, car repairs really anything one might need. The room rate was very reasonable compared to others in the area. The room isn’t where you would want to lounge and spend a lot of time. But it is comfortable and functional. If you’re in town in business and spending most of your time engaged in activities in the area, this is a perfect place to spend your nights."
