The rooms have everything one needs, ecm en a small kitchen with stovetop fridge and microwave. A wardibe with room to hang dresses not just a short one. A desk and co fy bed. And a tv i never used. A nice size bathroom with a great shower. Paid parking inside a locked gate and only nine or 10 minutes from the old Center. Where are no good restaurants or bars around the hotel, need to drive or walk to the old city. Room was a little small, but balcony was huge and overlooking city and bay. Very good breakfast, nice garage, which need to be reserved in advance as space is limited. "Good location in the centre of Guernica near bars and tourist office. Room was pretty basic but adequate. Good, hot shower. The bottle of water and tea making facility was a nice touch.
Biggest issue was the check-in hassle. There is a note on the door to check-in at the bar next door....but the bar was shut. There were several numbers stuck on the bar windows but it wasn't clear which to use and there was no answer initially. Given my phone was nearly flat, it was a big stress I really didn't...

"stayed 1 night. It is what it is, a 3-star hotel in the middle of nowhere. It is actually NOT that close to the airport. A regular taxi can charge around 28 euros. Impossible to walk to the airport. Look out if you think is a convenient place due to proximity to Bilbao airport."

"The building is beautiful from the outside, but it is in desperate need of maintenance and renovation on the inside.
The only positive aspects of my stay were the breakfast buffet, which was excellent, and the housekeeping staff. The cleaning team did an outstanding job and kept the rooms clean and well maintained throughout my stay.
Overall, despite a few positive points, I would not consider this a true four-star hotel and would not choose to stay here again."
