This could be a great place with a little bit of updating. The staff is awesome, the pool is nice and private but the building is showing it's age and needs a little freshening up. Won't stop me from going back-the people make it!

Staff was friendly and check-in was easy. The room appeared clean, until when clearing off the sheets to the bed feces and blood were found on the sheets. The bed had been made with dirty sheets from the previous guests. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything being said in the rooms next door and the hallway.

Location was very good. It wasn't far from the taxi stand near the bus stop and it was easy for our guide to pick us up in the morning for a tour in Copan.

Breakfast was delicious with wonderful options offered every day. Restaurant staff were very helpful. The staff at reception had some mishaps with registering us but they attempted to resolve the issues quickly. The room was very clean, perfectly acceptable.

Exhausted after my stay

There was a party, with huge booming bass music and screaming, that literally went on all night. I was there on a Saturday night and didn't get to sleep until it ended at about 5 a.m. I asked the night clerk about it (special event? Saturday night?) and he said it happened virtually every night. Out of fairness, everything else about the hotel was fine
