(Note Vrbo maps is wrong -- this home is just a 2-minute drive from the beach) JUST A 5-MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH! Relax in this gorgeous, updated 1935 California beach bungalow. New paint, flooring and beachy decor throughout. A large backyard with tons of seating, as well as a huge outdoor deck, sun-room, and sunny dining room. Quiet neighborhood but a very short walk to excellent restaurants of all types. Two large nearby groceries. You'll have the entire house to yourselves -- 4 bedrooms with closets, 2 full baths, full kitchen, living room, extra rec room, washer/dryer, barbeque grill – even Foosball! Fully stocked with kitchen supplies & linens. Plenty of on-site parking. We even provide free snacks! Ideal for families or friends.

When you rent a vacation home you often only deal with a large property management company. They’re typically available only Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. And even if you reach them during office hours it can take days to solve an issue – usually after you’ve checked out. And you often have to check in, fill out paperwork and get keys at their office, which can be miles away.

Our names are Melany & Jon and we own and manage this home ourselves. We’ve lived here for 30 years – California’s Central Coast is heaven on Earth to us! Your key will be waiting for you at the house in a lock-box. We live 5 minutes from the property and are available to help 24/7. You’ll have our personal cell number -- call or text ANYTIME! We’ll deal with any issue immediately. We are familiar with all the local shopping, activities, and restaurants (honestly we eat out too much). We’d LOVE to recommend places and activities to make your stay absolutely amazing!!

Jon & Melany were amazing hosts! Communcation was very easy with text and responded right away. They provided recommendations of where to eat and shop, which were nearby, if you walked or drove. It's great that access to the beach was nearby.

College Tour

It was nice, some of the pullouts werent comfortable to sit on but the beds were all fine. Easy walk to the beach and coffee. Nice and quiet. Easy to drive to the Cal Poly tour.

Great beach house with plenty of room!

Fantastic stay at this beach house in Grover Beach - so close to the water and tons of activities and restaurants. We just wish we had booked more time to take advantage of all the local fun. Thanks for the great stay!

Great location in Grover Beach

We just spent a long weekend at this home. It has everything you need to make it 'home' for a while. The beds are very comfortable and the location is fantastic. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc and just down the street from the vehicle beach entrance. Highly recommend.

old style home charm

Very cute 1930 built home, has all the old-style charm of an older house. Very clean. Very large yard, great for dogs. Close to shopping, restaurants and beach. Hosts are super responsive to any requests, great follow up and communication. Definitely would stay there again.

Peaceful holiday

We had a blast this past weekend - the house is located in a perfect location, near to a variety of great resources, including food, the Pismo butterfly groves, golf courses, and much more. The hosts were incredibly responsive and were able to help us with questions as they arose. Would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful Stay for Family Beach Getaway

Came for an alumni function at Cal Poly with my parents, wife and two kids (6 and 3). Kids loved it. Super nice and accommodating hosts. Super great location walking distance to the beach and a bunch of great restaurants. Would 100% stay again.

Adorable, clean, comfortable, and cute home in a great location with A+ hosts! Melany and Jon were super easy to work and communicate with. Came for nephew’s wedding in SLO and this amazing home was truly the icing on the cake. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommend!!

Great little beach house!

Melany & Jon are top notch hosts, checking in and being available for any and all questions. Just a few blocks from the Grover beach front and quick 5 minute drive to Pismo, this was perfect as a home base for our family of 7.

Adorable large cottage

Absolutely perfect for large families and pets. Fully fenced in back yard. Very close to the beach. The hosts were fabulous. He checked in with us to see if we needed anything . We loved the cottage charm. Would definitely stay here again.

Family get together

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during a Pismo weekend. The location was great, close enough to everything without being in the middle of the chaos that is downtown Pismo. The owners were a delight and always get us informed. The house had a perfect beach charm. We will stay again next time in Pismo.
