The hotel is gorgeous! We stayed in the grand room and it had the best view. Literally everything you could ask for in a room, fireplace, soaking tub, its own private rooftop balcony, a cieling fan and a corded fan, the colora were perfect (black and white) every amenity you could think of. Definitely found our new pkace to stay in Morro Bay...and its near everything! Walking distance to bars, restararounta and the embarcadero. Staff was super funny and helpful.
The room did not have a/c. So the night got really hot, there was a fan though. Everything else was fine. Also there is a power station or some factory close by. Don’t know if that is safe for long periods of exposure.
This place is very clean and Gabby who works at the front desk is the best !!! She was so kind and has been very helpful. The wine tasting they have is good as well!!!
King room was spacious with a balcony and fireplace. Breakfast was adequate with fresh yogurt and toppings. Would like to have had hot coffee available throughout the day/evening - canisters were empty or lukewarm.

Pros: friendly front desk staff, good free breakfast the room was large and clean. Laundry and Gym facilities were good.
Con: We found the walls and ceiling were very thin so quite alot of noise. The water pressure was bad,and our bathroom was quite small.

Our hotel room was clean and comfortable. However, the curtain rod was broken and looked like it might fall down. We reported the problem to the day shift front desk woman and she said yes, we saw that the other day. We were very disappointed that the staff was aware of the problem and didn't fix it prior to our stay. It took them two more days to 'partially' fix the broken curtain rod. Also, we had one luggage easel in our room and we needed two. On a positive note, the evening front desk woman was very friendly and helpful.
Stayed here numerous nights while in Morro Bay this winter. Rooms are secure, clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Complimentary wine after 5pm is a nice touch. So is their breakfast offering.
Wonderful stay!
The room was very clean, comfortable bed, all the amenities, a microwave, fridge, and coffee.
Free breakfast was nice, and free wine for an hour in the evening! Clean, quiet, friendly staff, close to the beach. A hidden gem!
Only problem we had was that neither of the two rooms our family stayed in had any heat. The unit did not work in either room and it remained between 60-64 in our rooms all night. There was nothing they could do about it. We checked in and then found the rooms to be very cold and there was no way they could fix the heating problem for our stay and they could not put us in any other rooms because the hotel was completely booked due to some wrestling tournament being in town. They were able to provide us with one space heater, but it only brought the heat up to 64 in the one room. There were children staying in the rooms as well as me, a woman of 77 years old and in blood thinners, which make me feel cold already.
The young lady at the front desk has been extremely nice the few times I’ve stayed here. She went above and beyond to make sure my stay was pleasant and I am sure she treats all guests the same.
