“Convenient location, but the stay fell short in other ways. The staff wasn’t very welcoming — there was little to no engagement during our interactions. The furnishings throughout felt dated and showed visible wear. Most concerning, I found hair in the tub that wasn’t mine, which was a hygiene issue I didn’t expect. The hotel is undergoing some extensive repairs which we were not advised about in advance. The room service was good but not excellent we only ever received one bathrobe and on one occasion only one bath towel. Other than that it was good. The breakfast was superb with a wide selection and very nice coffee. The outstanding feature of this hotel was the location. Right next to the canal which has a fantastic selection of bars and restaurants and was very busy every night
