"The room was as described, a slight sewage smell and I wasn’t prepared for the racoons but I enjoyed my stay. The beach was nice it’s walkable to a less rocky area. The resort staff were wonderful, it’s walkable to downtown where food, beaches and shops. Jusy offers the best tours and excursions she was also very accommodating. I would go back "

"Absolutely outstanding! We stayed in villa 17. It was amazing. It was a free standing unit with tons of windows and the most gorgeous outdoor shower. Very well appointed with lots of supplies in the kitchen, full sized fridge, washer/dryer, close to the pool, and supremely clean and spacious. The staff here is wonderful. We got in late and it was so easy getting in and to our villa. Super close to lots of restaurants, bars, coffee places, and 5-10 min walk to the beach. We rented a car, and the parking was safe and easy as well. We will definitely be back."

"Hotel Pasatiempo is an oasis in Tamarindo! There is a lush garden throughout the property and you can see a variety of animals like monkeys, iguanas, raccoons, etc. It has air conditioned/ceiling fans, spacious and very clean cabanas with wonderful patios. The pool is has lots of seating around it and is a nice option from going to the beach. The beach is across the main road in Tamarindo and there are many restaurants and shops right there. The hotel has a bar and restaurant also. The staff is super friendly and accommodating! I love it there!! My one recommendation is to have a variety of pillows. 😁"

"We had a beautiful 3 days at Capitán Suizo! It was clean, comfortable, and the food was delicious! But the most amazing part was definitely the staff - they were attentive, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond. The hotel is super peaceful but an easy walk to all the restaurants, stores and nightlife if that’s what you want. Thank you all for a great stay! "

"Yes, very clean they organized and cleaned our room multiple times a day. They could’ve had more restaurants open. Some music down at the pool would’ve been nice. Apparently we went during their lowest season and it was only about 5 to 10% occupied so it was pretty quiet. There was a minor construction that disrupted our afternoon one day with some very loud pressure washers. It’d be nice if they had a club with music and dance floor . but they did upgrade us when we got there to a better room with an ocean view. I was very appreciated of that."
