The cottages is not fit for vacation due to unheal
Royal Cliff resorts is unhealthy place to stay. Electric fan not adequate for ventilation to sleep at night. cockroaches and ants were all over the bedroom area. I informed and showed to resort staff the roaches and ants. I sent 2 emails to Hotel.com and the Royal Cliff Resort management but both emails were ignored and unanswered to this date. I fully paid for 7 days week my stay and used 1 night only. Because my wife is suffering sore throat, start coughing and potentially lead to bronchitis/pneumonia we have to discontinue and cut short our stay using only 1 night out of 7 days.

Hello Edison, We are very sorry that you are not feeling well. We are known as a very healthy, clean and envirement friendly Resort. We have screens at the window, so no moskitos can come to the room. In the Tropical you should not eat anything in the room. Aunts will come right away and disturbs you. kindest regards Ingay

Perfect hideaway!
Great hideaway right on the water, great access to snorkeling. Fantastic staff! Very low key, minimal styling. Excellent food-fresh home cooking!

A charming resort
Royal Cliff's strengths are the amazing views from its clifftop location. This is a very quiet small resort attractively located amid gardens and trees. The cottages are widely set apart. There are many quiet places to read or sunbathe. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant food is delicious and has a home cooked appeal. Please do not expect luxury, no hot water in showers, no air conditioning, no bedside light, no pool- but the cottage was cool without AC and we didn't need hot water. The beach was not sandy. Looking past these drawbacks Royal Cliff is a charming resort and was good value for money.

STAY AWAY. HEALTH RISK
This hotel is a mosquito infested nightmare. Not only did we get covered with bites, we got very little sleep but it gets worse. My friend Dave started feeling weak and running a fever. So he was taken by ambulance to the hospital. They treated him for two days giving him medicine to control he fever. So we left the cliff House and booked a hotel in Dumaguete that was clean and well maintained but Dave’s fever came back so we took him to another larger private hospital in Dumaguete where they quickly determined that he had contracted dengue fever from he mosquito bites. So our entire vacation was ruined. We spent most of it in hospitals and we are out another $29000 which we paid for hospital bills and blood transfusions.

Dear Zyl, we are very sorry for what happened to your friend. So far, there is no dengue decease caused by mosquitoes in our area. You may check it in the rural health unit in San Juan. We have also other guests during your stay with us and all of them don't have a problem. Dengue mosquitoes don't usually like windy, coastal areas. As far as our records are concerned you mostly spend your time outside the resort specially in Lazi from morning until 9 pm. Mosquitoes are anywhere and no staff or family members specially kids who are 24/7 in the resort have contracted the decease. We are very sorry for what happened to your friend.

Great slice of paradise
Great location being right on the cliff (as you might suspect) looking over the ocean where you can see fisherman and the occassional turtle. Woken up by birdsong and dodging hermit crabs who have scuttled up at night. They have some great public areas with 5 star views to eat your meals at the resort Very friendly and helpful staff, decent food and fairly basic but nice little cabins. Needs wifi in the rooms though, not just in bar area. Good food options in walking distance and don't forget to ask where the party is at.

Wonderful staff and lovely views
This is a nice quiet hotel with fairly large rooms. The hotel is located right on the water which is beautiful. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, all the girls are so so friendly and genuinely interested in your time on the island. The bed linen was a bit marked and needs replacing and the room maybe needed a bit of a spring clean in places, but all minor things really so for the price this place is good and we would return!

The service was absolutely brilliant. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms are a little dated and the bed is okay for a couple of nights but could be comfier

Hi Jordi,sorry that you are not happy. You also have to read what you are booking. But you can not speak any word english.You expected a big Hotel and don't know what is a Resort. We don't have aircon and only 6 rooms. Our place is very cool.We have a beautiful seawater with a great corallreef in the front. Sorry, but an ocean has low and hightide. But even it's lowtide it's very good for swimming.It's nature, so you will have also some small insects in our beautiful garden.have a nice time and be not so scared in the tropical,

Amazing stay, really kind staff!
Amazing stay at Royal Cliff Resort! Eco friendly environnement, great location and super kind and helpful staff. Totally recommend. Siqijor was the best step of our trop and this resort helped a lot :)

Sehr nettes Personal. Für Ruhe suchende aufgebaut aber leider zu laut durch die zu geringe Entfernung zur Straße. Sonst alles super.

Nous avons adoré cet hotel! Bien situé dans Siquijor, au bord de la plage avec des petites falaises. Jardin super bien entretenu au quotidien. Le cadre est magnifique. Les chambres sont minimalistes mais propres. Il y a seulement 6 bungalows donc on est au calme. Possibilité de faire du snorkling depuis la plage si vous avez votre masque. Possibilité de louer un scooter pour 300pesos/jour (indispensable pour se déplacer). Situer à 15/20 min de siquijor et 25/30 min de Larena. Restaurant avec vue sur la mer. petit déjeuner copieux. Coucher de soleil magnifique depuis le restaurant. Et le personnel est d'une gentillesse.... Notre coup de cœur des vacances!!

un sitio excelente para relajarse
El hotel se encuentra en primera línea de playa, desde la terraza de las habitaciones ves el mar, el personal súper atento en todo momento, 100% recomendable, volvería sin duda! Salamat!
