The property was clean and the resort was very welcoming for the most part. Unfortunately- the unit has issues that should be addressed: the running water did not get hot at all. This is an issue for bathing and washing dishes. The blankets on the beds were quite thin. Plenty of bath towels but no face or hand towels. Be sure to bring extra kitchen supplies if staying for the week- paper towels, garbage bags etc. Despite the host stating that emergency supplies were available- when a tropical storm occurred we found that the flashlights had no batteries, there were no battery operated fans and minimal emergency lighting. The pools, hot tubs and the private beach at Aquatika are quite lovely. Please note- during our visit - we had to deal with multiple power and water outages. The host was very communicative and polite though it was quite frustrating.
