We received a room upgrade which we were grateful for but the room was very tired, particularly the bathroom area which had a handful of areas of damage. "The hotel is next to a mini market and POPs ice cream store. It also walking distance from playas mantas. The pool is large and nice. The restaurant is mediocre at best. Unfortunately, there are no other options for food, other than the hotel restaurant and maybe one more place. We had to drive to the main road in order to get other restaurant choices."

"Eden Atenas is a wonderful place to stay. The included breakfast every morning is nothing short of incredible!!! The staff was so nice all the time and were always available to answer any questions we had about the area. Our hot water went out on day 2 but the host graciously moved us to a cabana with instant hot water. If you get the chance, upgrade to a cabana…100% worth it"

"Great location, staff was very helpful, the breakfast was very good, beachfront and very close to the lighthouse which is a must go in your stay in Puntarenas.. The only thing that maybe need an improvement is the A/C unit in our room, the staff gave us options but because our stay was only for a night, we didn’t see the need for a change… I recommend this hotel if you’re looking for options in Puntarenas…"
