New Spacious House Near the airport

Brand new and spacious house at 5 minutes from the International Airport Juan Santa Maria. In the middle of nature. Very close to a coffee plantation (300 mts.). The villa have three big bedrooms with three complete bathroom. With a large terrasse at the first level with BBQ. Another private terrasse at the second floor togheter with the bedroom number three. Very quiet area with a magnific view of The Valley.

This place is a scam. The rental is not available anymore.

We didn’t even get to stay at this house, the house is no longer available for rental but the post has not been removed from the site and appears as available. We got charged and booked. The host never sent any information and when we reached out there was no response. We messaged her through the app, email and called and texted the number posted with no response. When we got to the place there was no one there, except a neighbor who informed us the “owner” had not had the place available for over a year then he proceeded to try to rent us a place he knew about and was very insistent on us taking up his offer even after we stated we weren’t interest. It was a group of five young women and it was this man and his son basically harassing us to follow him up the mountain to check out the house they knew about. The whole situation was very sketchy. So just be aware this place is a scam and no longer an available rental. Stay away from this place.

Casa grande para grupo.

La casa cuenta con 3 habitaciones, en 2 de ellas pueden dormir hasta 5 personas y tiene otra de 3 personas. Cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estadía; Sábanas, colchas, almohadas, toallas, lavadora, secadora, papel de baño, cocina equipada, televisor, limpieza, agua caliente y buenos vecinos. La carretera para llegar es en piedra, es el único detalle que podría mencionar en contra. Los Uber y Taxis buscan y entran a dejar las personas a la casa; o se puede caminar a la orilla de la calle y pedir taxi o Uber desde allá, son como 250 metros. Cerca del Centro, City Mall, Plaza Real, Aeropuerto, lugar tranquilo y sin ruidos.

Had to leave and stay in hotel

I really hate to leave bad reviews, but this place was so unacceptable that our group had to leave and find a hotel for the night. Lyne, the property owner, was very kind; however the property itself was not in good condition. The neighbors (who were very sweet) let us in when we arrived, as the property owner was out of the country. As they were showing us the property, they were also cleaning up dead bugs off of the floor. When our group returned later in the evening from San Jose, we came back to a place crawling with huge ant-like insects, large spiders, and other bugs. At first it seemed tolerable, but more and more bugs started appearing until we were essentially all constantly swatting and stomping them away. It was so unbearable that we all felt extremely uncomfortable sleeping in the beds and leaving our belongings on the floor. We ultimately had to pack up and book last minute hotel rooms that same night. In addition to the bugs, the front door did not properly lock, the sliding glass door didn't even close, windows were left cracked open when we arrived, the shower door handle fell off, and the wifi was absolutely not working (adding another inconvenience).
