First of all, there is no parking as it shows in the expedia website, someone needs to do a better job evaluating what is put on the site.
The rooms are small, the door lock wouldn't lock and could be opened from outside so we had to be moved to a different room which was not a balcony room (and of course the rates are the same).
The staff are very kind and friendly. We were up early for breakfast (too early) lol but they still provided us with coffee and a great breakfast shortly after. We asked for a different room for our final night in Costa Rica - we stayed our first night and will stay again on our last night - and our request was answered immediately. A very welcoming place, highly recommend

Can be a good option for lodging, w/ reservations
Really kind, attentive staff and convenient location; the downside was how incredibly noisy the room was starting from 5am and how stuffy it felt because of the lack of (rather limited) ventilation.
Everything was excelant except the guy on the desk recomended Uber over a taxi and the Uber guy did not know San Jose like a taxi driver. We got there or found a place I could catch the bus I needed but he was lost
Bad bad area .they told me included breakfast ..we only got ..old a banana. Old butter ..old cream cheese and bread coffee not good. The area were the hotel was located HORRIBLE !!

Very Basic Hotel
This was just OK. Overall I would only recommend it for a night when you first arrive. It's not in a nice part of town but the woman who checked us in was very nice. No English spoken. Terrible breakfast.

Nice place, great staff
The manager (son of owner) was very knowledgeable and very helpful to me, even making phone calls for me (my Spanish is lousy) and going on line for me. Above and beyond! The maid didn't speak English but was very nice and helpful, again, more than she needed to be. And the place is clean and nice. Not close but within walking distance of downtown Breakfast was boring, but there's plenty of good food in Costa Rica!
