Surf, Sunrises and Whales

Clean, quite and great location. Not too far of a beach walk to dining and grocery shopping. Salt water pool was fun too.

Hidden Gem

If you’re looking for a nice and quiet getaway then this is your place. You can’t beat the views and the apartment is very comfortable and well stocked. Just a quick Uber ride to downtown San Jose del Cabo with great events, dining, and shopping! Would definitely stay again.

The Perfect Ocean View

Paradise Found

We are so fortunate to have found La Jolla and spend a week at such a wonderful location, getting to know this special community. Victor was so helpful and welcoming at check in, he set the stage for a fantastic week. The condo was peaceful, safe, comfortable and offers the most magnificent location. Grounds are perfectly manicured, pools are amazing, excellent swimming, beach walks for miles, easy access to all amenities. We will be booking our next visit!!!

Unmatched Location and Views

This is the second time at this property. It was with a new owner, but the property and location may have been better than our memories of it. Although the majority of the property was mostly the same, the new owner did make some nice improvements in the kitchen. This property and its location has to be seen and experienced to be believed. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Cute, Clean and Great Location

My parents and I spent 5 nights in this beautiful condo. It was very modern and nicely decorated. It was also very clean and tidy which is very important to us. We shopped at the nearby supermarket and cooked a lot of our meals. The kitchen was fully stocked which made cooking very pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed drinking our coffee on the terrace as we watched the sunrise; absolutely breath taking views! We look forward to returning. Thank you for making us feel welcome!

Great sevice, great stay

The condo was comfortable, quiet, well outfitted, and right on the beach. The view was perfect. The pools are heated and nice. We used Uber to get around and that worked out perfectly. A major plus is the agent Pablo. He helped us get into the unit early, was there to meet us and provide info, and helped out with whatever we needed. He helped us find COVID tests for our travel home. It was great to have someone we could depend on to contact with any issue. We would stay here again.

Beautiful Views!

Casa Kim was perfect for our family. The ocean views from every room are so beautiful. We were there in Summer so had to use AC but it kept all of the rooms cool. The property management was super helpful and responsive. The beach out front is good for walking but not swimming. You can walk to a surf break though and it was not far to drive to swimmable beaches. San jose del Cabo is a quick drive away for restaurants. The pools on the property are nice. Even though complex is on a busy road you cannot hear traffic from the condo..just the crashing waves.

Exactly as described and close to everything!

The property is as described and right on the beach. Pools are easy to access, and beach chairs are readily available. This is your spot if you like lounging in the sun all day. Pablo was great with check-in. He had chips and salsa, margaritas, and beer at the ready. The property is close to all the activities, large grocery stores, and restaurants. House WiFi was perfect, and Netflix and local TV (ESPN) were available. Appliances were brand new, and enough plates, cups, and silverware to make a family feel at home. One issue that is easily addressed is the actual address in the literature. We had a hard time getting food delivered, and when we needed an emergency visit, we had no way to report the actual address for delivery or emergency dispatch. They kept asking for our "Colony," which was nowhere to be found. I am also fairly certain Amazon could deliver if the address was posted clearly.

Amazing view

Casa Kim’s was very clean well maintained 2 bedroom Suite, walking distance to a few restaurants and very centrally located. Nice to have filtered water system in the kitchen including the fridge ice! The only thing that was not working to good was the hot water in the master bedroom it’s a bit tricky to get the right temperature and the screen doors were very difficult to open and close… very minor issues and I’m sure they will be addressed as we left a note letting the property manager know. Pablo was waiting at the condo for us and surprised us with Margaritas chips and salsa.. very nice touch and he was very accommodating and looked after us very well! So. NIce to wake up every morning to the amazing sun rise and the sound of the ocean ..so calming.. there are 2 pools one is heated, we are beach people but nice to have the option of a pool. The condo is well equipped with chairs and towels for the beach and so nice to have a washer and dryer as well! Over all this is a great place to stay!

The property has the potential to be nice but there was a lot of construction in progress which included a lot of construction noise before 9:00 am which we were not aware of until after we had already booked. There were no amenities, like there were on several of the neighboring properties. There is a nice, large pool. Property Management was not quick to respond to messages. We had some issues with cleanliness (stained bedding and towels). Security also approached us a couple of times questioning whether we were renting on the property which was very uncomfortable. The property should provide wrist bands or some type of identification so that renters are not made to feel unwelcome. The view of the ocean from the condo was nice and Victor was super nice and very helpful. We most likely will choose a different location on our next visit.

Quiet, Handy Location, Beautiful Views, Friendly Staff

The condo is directly on the beach yet secluded (not alot of pedestrian shore traffic walking by), no traffic noise from highway, easy walk to several restaurants & shops. Located on opposite sides of the livingroom are two master bedrooms. Both have en-suites and sliders onto a wrap-around balcony with views of ocean and back towards the beautifully landscaped pool areas. Sitting on the 2nd floor balcony we saw whales breaching in the distance and rays 'slapping' by the shore multiple times. We found all the condo's furnishings, appliances, kitchen utensils, bed & bath linens, etc to be as listed in the amenities and as shown in photos. WiFi and TV reception was excellent. A/C units in all rooms but with the constant sea-breeze, we hardly used it. Having potable water available at the kitchen sink and for the ice-maker is a big plus by not having to lug heavy 5-gallon water bottles up to the condo. So was digital door locks vs having to mess with keys. The entire condo as well as the La Jolla complex's pool areas, beach, grounds and parking were all well maintained. The security crew was friendly and always present, doing their rounds regularly walking around the grounds, parking lots and along the sea wall day and night. We booked thru HomeAway but all contact was with Kristen at Cabo Property Management vs working directly with an owner. We also used CPM to arrange round-trip airport transportation, which we requested to stop at La Comer grocery on way to condo to stock up on supplies. All personnel at both companies were professional, friendly and reliable. Victor, CPMs maintenance inspector met us at the condo and answered all our ? checking us in and was waiting in parking lot when we checked out, on his cell directing the airport transfer driver to our building. He also got the owners permission to install a safe in the king master bedroom. Misc Non-La Jolla Info We didn't rent a car, rode the buses & collectivos for <$1US. There is a OXXO(mini grocer w/canned-goods, bread, milk, fruit, veggies, beer, pop, etc. about a block walk along the highway. Also 2 pharmacies for OTC & prescription medications. Walkable restaurants - Momma Mia's left down the beach; Cantina Sardina (our favorite), Dominos(the pizza-chain) & La Salsa to the right along highway. The Krystal resorts large palapa entrance next to the La Jolla HOA office has security who will call a taxi for you. There's also tour rep desks who will book site-seeing trips for you.
