"This is the second year we have stayed at the Barefoot Bungalow and we were very happy! Great, easy beach access, beautiful ocean view from the yard! The home is very clean and plenty of room for the 5 of us adults. And can’t forget to mention our pet for the week, Hey Hey the chicken! Lots of fun and we will be back!!!!"

"From the moment we walked into Casa de Amistad, we felt welcomed like family. Mike greeted us with a warm smile and took the time to tell us everything we needed to know about Vieques—from the best food spots to must-do activities around the island. His knowledge and hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable stay. They truly thought of everything. We were provided with beach towels, coolers, and chairs, making our beach days so easy and stress-free. Both Mike and John were incredibly attentive, always making sure we had what we needed—from morning coffee to cold water, sodas, and even beer available to us at all times. It honestly felt like we were staying at a friend’s house, not a hotel. The rooms were immaculate, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect—central to everything and within walking distance to the ferry port, restaurants, and shops. If you’re heading to Vieques, I can’t recommend Casa de Amistad enough. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth, care, and genuine hospitality. We can’t wait to return"

"The location is amazing! You are literally staying directly on the beach. The house has everything that you would want. Past guests have left so many beach items, from water shoes to beach chairs...we benefited from it all! The kitchen is well stocked. We loved the open air of the upstairs, and the AC in the bedrooms for sleep. The pool is small, but perfect for cooling off and relaxing. If you are noise-sensitive, bring ear plugs for sleeping. The waves were relaxing and lulled me to sleep for most nights, but there were a few nights the waves were strong and pretty loud. Ear plugs did the trick! We loved it and would definitely return."

"Casa Carmin, by far, is the best VRBO I have visited with my family in Puerto Rico. The facilities are gorgeous, and the communication with our host was incredible.
