San Giuseppe Vesuviano Holidays from AU$3,249

This airport hotel is not the closest one to the terminal and given a second chance, we would’ve chosen the closest spot instead. It’s a 10 minute walk from the airport. We didn’t have high expectations given the fact it’s an airport location but we didn’t think that we’d have dirt and spiders on the sheets nor a window that couldn’t shut. We only stayed for a few hours because of a late arrival and a very early flight but it was hot and dirty inside. The broken window latch was probably responsible for the grime as only the bed under the window was dirty but arriving to find spiders on the pillows made it feel very dirty and no where near worth the $$ of the property. The hotel staff was nice enough. But the AC doesn’t work well at all. It was little more than a fan. But we were grateful to at least have that as the room was very hot. Maybe because the window doesn’t stay shut. We had to block it with luggage to keep it closed. Would not recommend. Would definitely not stay again. If we weren’t pressed for time we would’ve asked for another room or a refund and found another location. Wholly disappointing.

The room was very clean, Breakfast was not great! There was very little choice, this was the 3rd hotel that I had stayed in during my trip and the worst Breakfast..you had to ask the member if staff for more coffee and it felt like you were imposing on them. The hotel itself is lovely but the area is very rough. Every cafe I went into advised me to put my bag in front of me and look out for pick pockets.

Pool was a very inviting in the August heat following excursions/ shopping. Pool bar reasonably priced with UK prices. Staff helpful and friendly.

A slightly remote hotel with very good facilities. The staff are very helpful and the pool a delight. The rooms are very good and the view too. The dining/breakfast room is good and the dinner menu excellent. Good hotel shuttle service too, beating ITTaxi (who failed to show many times) and Uber (expensive).

This hotel was everything we hoped it would be. The food was delicious, friendliness and service from the staff was the best we’ve had anywhere in Italy. I can’t say enough good things.
