"The room wasn’t bad, enough space for two guests and the balcony was a nice touch. That’s where the good stuff pretty much ends, the restaurant staff were rather friendly and helpful as was the gent on reception but the hotel is tired and it’s covered up with odd decoration.

"We only stayed one evening on our last night in Catania. We loved having parking and a pool our family. We chose as family suite which was enormous ! Overall a great option if you want to be away from the main tourist area. It’s not walking distance to the historical centre, you will need to use taxis or rent a car."

"The property was in the best possible location, walking everywhere was so easy. The staff were helpful and the room was well maintained and cleaned every day. The air conditioning was excellent. The shower was faulty and the water cold but that didn't worry us as it was so hot! Bed extremely comfortable. The breakfast was OK - we don't have the sweet tooth as the locals seem to and so it was not to our taste but the range and quality very good."
