"Really super place to stay. The owners were really welcoming. It’s an old style motel which has been redone in a fresh contemporary style. It was very quiet and felt very safe. Everything was super clean. Nice place for breakfast called Sugar Shack is just next door. Easy access to pier and local bars, restaurants without any noise from being too close. Ideal. 100% recommended "

"Upon check in, a $150 hold was required, this was not noted on the site. Not a huge deal but more than normal Hotels. The lobby is pretty and smelled great. They have fresh cookies out. The area you pull into has an outside lounge area which is nice to wait for friends or just relax. We didn’t go to the pool area. There are many restaurants and bars near by within a 1-2 min walk and the main downtown street is a couple blocks away. The front desk was not helpful, as their site said about Trolly information. It does not stop by the hotel and the gal just kept saying it’s at the pier. I was asking if it takes you from the hotel to the pier because it’s quite a walk and uphill on the way back. While walking around I found a trolly sign that was a couple blocks near by, they should be educated on this since their site says ask the front desk. Parking is first come first serve and low overhead. I got a space but it’s TIGHT. There is street parking but not a lot. We were in a room facing the freeway and there was two windows so when closed, we could not hear the noise at all. The room was good, carpet so that’s kinda yucky but it’s ok. Nice shower but no water pressure, at all. Overall it’s a great location, my friend and I felt safe, it was comfortable and we slept good. I would stay here again. "
