SPACE
Relax on your spacious PRIVATE DECK, complete with a comfortable lounge area, umbrellas, OCEAN VIEW and a BBQ, or unwind indoors where every room showcases the same ocean backdrop. The indoor-outdoor design is bright and airy, highlighted by a classic Dutch door that enhances the beachside charm. Inside you'll find a WELL-APPOINTED KITCHEN, large dining table, real leather sofas, two smart TVs, KING bed, built-in DESK area, his-and-hers bathroom w/ deep soaker tub, ample STORAGE throughout and an original restored 1960s furnace for heating and timeless character. Enjoy the natural comfort of ocean breezes flowing throughout, complemented by ceiling and portable fans keeping you cool throughout your stay—classic of a coastal experience.
THE BEACH / BEACH TRAIL
WALKING access to the beach and beach trail is available through several nearby entry points. I recommend The Linda Lane Beach access point, just a leisurely 8-minute walk to the sand and trail, and it places you just 2 minutes from the pier and to the iconic Fisherman’s Restaurant. From there, continue walking on the beach or beach trail, which continues south – round trip is approx. 4 miles.
NOTE: The access point in front of our property is currently inaccessible at the bottom, as the city is upgrading that location. Your view remains exactly the same as shown in photos.
Our beaches are ideal for sunbathing, people watching, relaxing, reading, swimming, surfing, bodyboarding, fishing, and stand-up paddling.
San Clemente is home to several renowned surf breaks within walking distance: T-Street, 204’s, Riviera and Cottons. World-class surfing at San Onofre and Trestles—officially the home of the 2028 Olympic surfing contest—is just a 10-minute drive south.
At low tide, the reef in front of the property reveals a vibrant tide pool ecosystem, featuring starfish, sea anemones, sea urchins, mussels & snails.
Guests enjoy complimentary beach gear:
• Surfboard
• 2 Body Boards
• Umbrella
• 2 Beach Chairs / Beach Towels
SHOPPING AND RESTAURANTS
WALKING just a short stroll to the pier, enjoy a meal at our Fisherman’s Restaurant while taking in the sunset. And just a few blocks from away, you’ll find our charming downtown area filled with stylish boutiques, surf shops, coffee houses, antique stores, and a diverse range of local and international dining options. Every Sunday, the Farmer’s Market brings the community together with stalls featuring unique souvenirs, local art, and freshly harvested organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
WHY SAN CLEMENTE? - Heart & Soul!
Many travelers fall in love with San Clemente’s quaint, small-town, beach charm - the kind that’s hard to find in the much busier, nearby coastal cities. Unlike the far more crowded scenes of Dana Point, Laguna Beach and Newport Beach, San Clemente has a true heart and soul – we are actually a walkable town, where you can stroll to local shops, grab dinner at family-owned restaurants, and actually feel part of the community. These other destinations are just a few minutes’ drive away, perfect for day trips. After, head back to San Clemente to unwind in a more relaxed, authentic, small beach-town atmosphere.
DAILY ADVENTURES NEARBY
San Clemente enjoys a perfect location, halfway between San Diego and Los Angeles—each about an hour’s drive away. Both cities are accessible via a short walk to the train station, so you can explore during the day and return home for a refreshing swim.
• Popular theme parks such as Disneyland, SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Legoland are all within an hour’s drive.
• Day trips via Amtrak. For a relaxed coastal journey, hop on the “Surfliner Amtrak” train from our pier and enjoy a scenic, coastal one-hour ride to San Diego, Del Mar Racetrack, or Petco Park. Heading north, you can reach Angel Stadium with ease or LA.
• Dana Point Harbor (currently under renovation for restaurants/dining 2025) just a 10-minute drive north, offers deep-sea fishing and whale watching opportunities. You can also rent kayaks, jet skis, and sailboats.
• Catalina Island - just a 1:20 minute boat ride away - is a great day trip for Island shopping restaurants, beaches, unparallel snorkeling and diving and bar hopping. Be sure to book tickets well in advance, especially in summer.
• Golfers? We have multiple private and public courses, many with ocean views.
• Nearby Laguna Beach is famous for its stunning coastline, vibrant galleries, art festivals, and the annual Pageant of the Masters held in July.
• Big Bear Ski Resort is a two-hour drive away, making it a perfect destination for a day trip or overnight getaway.
• Day-trip to Temecula’s Wine country.
• Explore historical San Juan Capistrano’s Mission; a 10 minute drive north
