Check out the old mail shoot that is located next to the elevator that residents used to send their mail for the post man to collect. It is not a working mailbox, so don't mistakenly mail a letter :)

A week in San Antonio Texas

A nice little property with a lot of character. The location of the property is great, downtown with access to all Riverwalk bars and restaurants. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, especially the nice big bed. The shower in the property was not great, but it did the job. There were ample towels and other essentials, and all in all a pretty decent choice. If you’re travelling from the U.K. take a travel kettle, as these don’t appear to be standard issue in the US. Thanks to the host, we had a good time.

Adorable and Clean Stay Right by the Riverwalk!

This tiny apartment was absolutely perfect for a quick girls trip to San Antonio! The aesthetic inside was so cute—thoughtfully decorated, cozy, and spotless. It’s clear the hosts put a lot of effort into making it feel welcoming.The location was a unique mix—there were some older, rundown spots nearby, but honestly, that just added to the charm of the area. No one ever bothered us, and we felt completely safe the entire time. Plus, the best part was how close we were to the Riverwalk! Being just a short walk away from all the action made this stay totally worth it.If you’re looking for an affordable, stylish, and well-kept place with easy access to downtown, this is it. We’d definitely stay here again!

In town for a three day “Punjabi Wedding”.On night one, Groomsmen gathering at the Westin, about 3/10 of a mile away. Night two, the Sangheet, pre-wedding celebration at Juarez Plaza, about 4/10 of a mile away. Finally, the wedding at Arneson River Theatre, about 4/10 mile away. Reception an Art Museum, about 4/10 mile away. The entrance to the River Walk, right across the street. This property and location was fantastic! Eclectic decorated interior, super-super clean and neat. Walked from Hotel Emma back to property, the River Walk clean, entertaining and so much fun. Thank you! Thank you!

Cozy with Sounds of the City

The place is nice and cozy, well equipped and the bed is comfortable. The Friday night we were there had plenty of city sounds well past midnight with revving engines and loud music from passing cars. Saturday morning the garbage trucks pickup pretty early. We had to be up early to go to conference or maybe we would have slept through it in the comfy king sized bed. It is located right downtown San Antonio so it is very convenient to everything downtown SA has to offer. With that said, the city sounds we’re expected and somewhat entertaining since it was so different than what we are used to. It was a fairly easy walk to the convention center, very easy on scooter or a short Uber ride that was easy to get.

So cute, and right on the Riverwalk!!

The pic looks EXACTLY like the real thing. Am an idiot and could not figure out shower on the first night. Delightful and sparkling clean tub- wish I’d brought a bath bomb to complete the sensory calming experience of staying here. Price point is far lower than any riverwalk hotel with a kitchen, and with that, downsides of no early checkin or luggage management (a fee to do this) and, as with many hotels, AC is loud (hint- there are 2! Shut it off in the room you are using, and turn on the ceiling fan - no noise), and hallways are clean but not nearly as cute as the unit. If you are a coffee snob, bring your own - this is Texas, not Portland. Overall, I loved it. Really glad I stayed here!

This is a tiny apt. That was fine for nomore than two. The pictures made it look bigger and more spacious. I would recommend a new coffee maker as the one there leaks everywhere!! Lots of kitchen dishes, one towel. Nice bathroom and shower! Plenty of bath amenities! Bed had no support and the 2 pillows were flat. Not comfortable at all. Lots of street noise well into the night like 2-3a.m. Garbage trucks by 4a.m. Knew it was a problem when we saw earplugs provided. Not a restful stay. Positives: great location for Riverwalk, historical sights, shops and restaurants. Great little eateries downstairs and a liquor store.

Perfect location.

This property is located in the pefect location near the Riverwalk. The apartment building is charming with it's rustic feel. The apartment is perfect for two people. Clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. We could not find a wine bottle opener so we left one. The loading zone had vehicles parked in it the entire time that did not move despite the 15min time limit. Unfortunately someone in the building smoked weed all day and the smell was strong. Ear plugs were provdided to help with the city noise. We didn't use them because we like to sleep with a fan and that was good enough. We were happy to see the box fan provided. Overall this is a great value VRBO and we would stay here again.
