Quaint little home surrounded by wildlife. My family loved it. Perfect to come back to after a day of running around visiting family. It had everything we needed.
The home is super cute, wonderfully clean, and I really appreciated the ice and waters provided! It’s also conveniently located to everything you would need, all the while feeling like you are up in the woods outside of town.
My buddy and I stayed here for a wedding and it was a perfect little spot. Had everything we needed, plenty of space and extremely clean. A+ experience.
Nice location on the outskirts of San Antonio's. Tiny house is adorable with lovely amenities. Enjoyed seeing the deer in the mornings. Very responsive and helpful host/hostess. Loved every moment. We would definitely recommend this location.
This tiny house is cute and comfortable. The view on the property is full of deer and Texas scrub oaks. Definitely a peace filled sanctuary to rest your body, mind and soul at!
We had such a fun stay at this cabin. The hosts are so friendly and provide coffee and tea and snack bars. We had visiting deer every day and an adorable black cat. It was great to relax at such a quiet location after a day of running around. The beds are also super comfortable. Thanks for an amazing weekend!
This was an amazing property! Had everything that I needed for a long weekend. In addition, the number and f deer on the property was crazy and fun to see. Love seeing wildlife and enjoyed watching the deer around the property. Would definitely stay there again!
This was such a wonderful place for my granddaughter and I to spend a week at. So peaceful! The cabin was super clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable.
We loved seeing the wildlife - deer, armadillo, chickens. We would highly recommend.
Host was very communicative.
We were in town for a college graduation. The tiny house had more than enough room for 2 adults. We enjoyed quiet country feel of the property. Plenty of deer and more to enjoy. It was a relaxing weekend in a wonderful location. A lot of thought has been put into making the grounds a natural retreat.
very clean, cozy, comfortable, and accommodating. they literally have anything you could need too, it was awesome. beautiful property, we saw a couple of deer and the sweetest pup and cat. not too far out of san antonio to be able to go do things, but far enough away from the busy-ness of the city! thoroughly enjoyed staying here and hope to get to come back in the future!
This is a lovely, magical property! The house is cute and clean and well appointed. Have your morning coffee outside and watch dozens of deer graze in the yard and surrounding forest. Baby skunks, a super friendly big black cat, chickens, all delightful… We really loved this vacation rental. Thank you!
It was beautiful and the location was great. Great host! We got to enjoy the deers running and playing around. The cats even said hello to us in the morning. I love the zen and peace of the property. My adult children and I look forward to staying again in the future.
Not used to all the noise, traffic and commotion in the city. Loved coming back to this little house. Quiet, comfortable, peaceful! And all the comforts of home. Only downside is didnt see an armadillo!! 5 plus stars!!
We loved our getaway to this tiny house. Our goal was to visit Guadalupe State Park which was about a 20 min drive away. The house was a perfect layout and spotless with all the needed amenities. We appreciated the coffee for the keurig! Saw multiple deer and a fox. We will definitely be back!
Cottage was as described. Everything was clean. Bed comfortable and bathroom good despite having to wait between showers due to small water heater. Living room furniture a bit aged and somewhat uncomfortable. Owner was great to work with. All in all a nice spot for 2 nights from which to visit San Antonio and have a safe spot for our travel trailer.
Beautiful cabin and peaceful environment. My husband and I have stayed at many VRBOs and this was the best experience we have had. It would have been the perfect place to see the total solar eclipse if the clouds hadn't rolled in. Still worth it. We enjoyed the sky, trees, birds, butterflies and deer from our secure and serene location. We felt very much at home. The cabin was immaculate.
The location of the property was ideal-secluded and very quiet but close to all amenities. Clean, deceptively spaciousness and equipped with everything you could possibly want. Deer included at no extra cost!
If there was a category above ‘Superhost’ the owners, Covita and Christopher, would definitely qualify. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble when I had a couple of problems (unrelated to the property)
The best holiday accommodation I have stayed in.
We will definitely come back here. It was easy to find. Owners are so kind. There was more then enough household essentials. It was close enough to city center to visit around. Most positive thing was deer. There were 50ish deer every morning in the yard. some of them was friendly enough that you can feed by hand.
We stayed at the property for 10 days and absolutely loved it. There is a sense of peace and serenity that overwhelms you as you sit in the house and watch the deer wander by in the morning. My wife didn't want to leave! While technically a "Tiny House", we found it to be very comfortable and well designed. We even hosted Christmas Eve dinner for 8 guests (we ate outside at two table from the property) and had no problems. Which brings me to my review.... The house is very well stocked with dishes, pots, towels, sheets, etc. which you would expect. But it also had a number of nice touches you might not expect - little notes around the house answering questions that have no doubt come from guests over the years, a supply of cooking spices in the kitchen, hair dryer, ironing board, various kitchen utensils, a wide ranging collection of books - in short it was more of a comfortable home than what you might envision in a "tiny house". And finally, I want to complement our hosts. Hospitality is not easy - but Chris and Catherine made us feel welcome during our whole stay. We would absolutely rent the "Texas Tiny house again!

We had difficulty with the arrangements on the day of our arrival. A lot of back and forth trying to figure out how it all worked. Finally with phone call it all came together. The BnB was great with lots of little perks available by the host. Everything you would need; dishes, coffee maker, yummy snacks and such. Had a mini bedroom upstairs perfect for litte kids, complete with a balcony. The couch and curtains were horrible. Dirty and deteriorated. Replacement is required. There was a sketchy lamp with damaged wires loosely taped. Work needs to be done. Fix these items and it would be a perfect retreat. Deer played in the yard and had a very friendly cat.
