Lovely place

We enjoyed staying at Casa Verde. The place was well appointed, maintained and clean, centrally located. Great kitchen and bathroom amenities. My only suggestion is to install better (brighter) reading lamps for night stands. Thanks Isabel for a lovely stay!

Clean, comfortable bungalow

We loved staying at this property. It was spotlessly clean and the neighborhood has plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. It's also very convenient to the Pearl, the River Walk, and Trinity University, where we were dropping our daughter off for school.

Great house

In town for several days and needed a home that was a central location to downtown and the airport. House was well equipped with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town.

Great small house

Great 2 bedroom house in a nice residential neighborhood. Easy to get to in a safe neighborhood. Isabel is great to work with, quick responses to our questions. Everything you could need is provided. Would stay here again if in San Antonio.

Outstanding Property

As avid travelers, this San Antonio home surprised and delighted at every turn. The host literally thought of every one of our needs. The home was clean and comfortable - a lovely treasure close to everything we visited in town. I would highly recommend this home if you are interested in visiting San Antonio!

San Antonio getaway

Overall a nice property. The best thing about it is location. 15 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes to downtown River walk area. Isabell was prompt to respond to inquiries.

Cozy Cottage

Great Place to Stay!

What a nice comfortable property! Beautiful neighborhood! It offers easy access to downtown, Alamo Heights, Monticello Park/Jefferson Village, and the Northside. I particularly enjoyed the proximity to the SA Central Library, Blanco Cafe, Jimenez Bakery, several Whataburgers, and Nagel’s Gun Shop. The owner is highly, highly responsive to issues that may arise. I’d definitely rent it again!

Great location to stay for Airman graduations

The cottage is just as pictured. Isabel was very communicative and dealt swiftly with an issue that arose during my stay. Well appointed, comfortable, clean, and in a cute neighborhood that is within walking distance to a grocery store. Conveniently located to the airport and Lackland Air Force Base. I highly recommend it if looking for a place to see an Airman graduate!

Beautiful Home

The house was clean and had plenty of clean towels, wash cloths, hand towels and kitchen towels. The beds were both very comfortable and had extra pillows and blankets. It had everything we needed and lots of extras. We enjoyed sitting in the screened in space outside and having coffee while listening to the birdies sing. We’d definitely stay there again!

Wonderful bungalow

Isabel was extremely responsive and provided detailed check-in info far in advance. Perfect size property with high end towels, soaps, etc. Neighborhood is next to Alamo Heights. Easy proximity to drug store and a few restaurants. Easy access to the highway into central San Antonio. Very clean home.

Exceeded expectations!

This older and quaint cottage has been completely modernized. All appliances, bedding, and towels are brand new and high quality…way better than one might expect from a rental property. In fact, it looks like an interior decorator was employed when considering the quality and coordinated furnishings. The kitchen is complete with most utensils needed for meal preparation.

Lived up to expectations

A little cottage with plenty of room. Clean, with a modern and well equipped kitchen. The stackable washer/dryer in the bathroom was convenient. Just a short drive to the River Walk, The Mission, good restaurants, and the airport. The home next door is in serious need of repair, but the neighborhood is safe. Friendly neighbors walking their dogs stopped to chat and offer sightseeing suggestions.

Beautiful and cozy

Great and beautiful house!! We have new year weekend and was fabulous. The house is cozy and very pretty. Isabel help us a lot with all information about restaurants and thing to do. The communication was fast and easy. The house has everything you need in a very good shape and super clean. The towels are great:) We have very bad weather one day and just enjoy being in this comfy house. The neighbor is quite and very nice houses. We really recommend and would love to come back.

Home base

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Casa Verde. This clean, precious 1928 house is a mixture of quaint historical with essential modern conveniences. We spent a very comfortable 2 weeks using it as a home base while we visited San Antonio and our family and friends. Because we know that”After three days doth fish and guests begin to stink”, it allowed us to visit with those we love on and off throughout the weeks without wearing out our welcome. We loved the neighborhood. Went for several walks enjoying the peaceful, safe, streets and the varied architecture of the homes. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had and made the entire experience enjoyable and effortless.

Perfect Casita

We found this to be the sweetest stay for our group of 4. Perfect location to downtown and nestled in a terrific neighborhood. We found everything we needed to be minutes away. Great coffee and bakeries were within walking distance and there were free parks to visit for cool off or just explore. The house was a great size and was equipped with all you would need to cook and have a great meal. The cleanliness was superior to any hotel or B&B Ive ever visited. The owner also provided excellent linens, great smelling soaps, toiletries and extra cleaning supplies. This was a terrific find for us. Only potential negatives...one Bathroom only and no dishwasher. These were not deal breakers for us.

Perfect vacation getaway spot!

We have been wanting to visit San Antonio for a while now and we're so pleased with our little vacation home for the week. It’s centrally located and only 10-15 minutes away from the airport, zoo, tea gardens, Majestic theater, Tha Alamo, Riverwalk and mall and Brackenridge park and so much more. It’s only about 45 min away from the beautiful caves at Natural Bridge Caverns and an 1.5 hours away from McKinney Falls State Park. The house was immaculate and cozy, the beds soft, the shower was perfect and hot! We like to be able to do laundry and our own cooking while on vacation and there was everything we could need to do both! Our wonderful host was so accommodating and responsive with any questions/needs. It’s the little touches that make such a big difference when you are away from home and Isabel is very thoughtful in how she sets up her home for when you arrive!
