"Very , very nice hotel it’s my new go to stay now. I love it."

"This was the first time I stayed at the Menger . It was very comfortable and right in the heart of the Alamo Plaza. The Alamo was a short walk across the street, shopping and fine dining all within a few minutes walk. The valet parking is a little expensive for me, but very convenient. They have a nice restaurant and bar downstairs, room service for the early morning breakfast in bed, and the first floor is like a little time capsule of this historic hotel. I'll come back in a future visit and stay a little longer "

"Everything was wonderful with the exception of the shower and toilet. It had mold in it. "

"It was clean and nice although the bathroom seem to have already some wear to it and the tub was very slippery. We enjoyed our stay overall"

"Front desk staff was over the top nice. Even switched rooms to accommodate our child wanting a different view. "
